I have bought some great plants here. A little pricey, but you are much less likely to have a bug incestation within a few days, as I have found with Home depot etc. I don’t have a particularly green thumb, but when I do purchase plants Calloways is my first stop.

I just went to the Callaway on 423 in the Little Elm/Frisco area. I asked the attendants, two of them what were the two types of grass they had in their flower beds and they didn’t know. They look like they were freshly planed in the flyer beds. Then they took me on a tour all over the property trying to find the two grasses and then told me they must be sold out.

I was told I can plant English Ivy anytime of the year so I went to calloways. I was sad to see the little selection.

We have been customers of this location since moving to Frisco in 2009. Shopping there is like going to Flower Heaven, especially in the early Spring and Fall. Their staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, and their clinics are very informational.

This past spring I purchased tomato plants from Lowe’s and this Calloway’s. After a month you could easily tell which plant was from Calloway’s. These plants were 3x’s the size of the Lowe’s and by the end of summer the Lowe’s plants had maybe grown a few inches compared to the feet of the Calloway’s plants. This is repeated by everything I have purchased from Calloway’s when compared to the Lowe’s and the Home Depot plants. From now on I’m heading to Calloway’s whenever I need something. Their service is incredible, their plants are excellent, and their staff is knowledgeable. I’m happy and comfortable while shopping there. Don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter. Not only do you get seasonable tips you find out about sales and who doesn’t want to save money?

This is one of the newest, shiniest Calloway’s in the chain: big, bold and beautiful. The indoor retail space is very well-organized and browsing-friendly, while still accommodating a large, roomy seminar area. The outdoor lot is huge and heavily populated with all manner of trees, shrubs and bedding plants – it’s like walking the Arboretum except on a smaller scale. This Calloway’s sits on a rather barren section of 121 across the highway from a tree farm, but with time, this intersection will soon be landscaped with strip malls, big box chains and restaurants. Meanwhile, get a piece of the country in your backyard with all great plants you can get at this nursery.
