Braum’s Ice Cream & Dairy Stores

I love theire Sunday and banana split and love theirs food too !! I don’t know why people’s always review a bad comment about all those little stuff !! I go every single day to get my treat and I always loves it theirs service but yeah sometime they do mistake because there are bunch of kids work there !! Anyway over all I love Braums specially milk and the best ice cream !! We definitely go everyday again and again !!

Went inside today for the first time after some years. The counters are messy and nobody seemed to care to pick up. The milkshake mixer was full of left over spills from previous shakes. I usually go through the drive thru but I could not believe how it looks inside. Even the food prep area does not look all that good either. Total disappointment, I could not drink my shake!

The customer is usually wrong here. This time my daughter and I both received burgers with pre-​mutilated buns. The food is meant to encourage obesity, so I don’t know what I was expecting.

Didn’t care for this place… went here tonight and did the drive thru. Told them that I wanted the fruit banana split. Got home and discovered they forgot to put in the bananas… seriously???
Go to DQ for better service!

I only stop at Braum’s to buy milk and bananas (and occasionally ice cream). The quality of the marketplace is second to none. This Braum’s is pretty dated and half the time the cash registers don’t work properly. I’ve waited more times that I’d like to remember for someone to appear to check me out with my ½ gallon of milk and 4 bananas. BUT it’s close to home and that’s a bonus, so it’s where I shop.
If I had more time/​energy, I’d drive to the store on Independence and 15^th. It’s the best.

I’ve been to several Braum’s locations and this is by far the worst one. The employees here are not friendly nor do they seem to care. I do not see anyone greeting the customers or offering to take anyone’s order. The banana split I ordered was messy and did not look appetizing. Also, this Braum’s is filthy! It really needs some serious cleaning. If I have a hankering for ice cream, I’ll go to Henry’s of to the Braum’s on Independence or the one on 15^th.

Worst service. There was 2 ppl at the counter and both of them didn’t want to take orders from me. It literally took 3min take orders from me.

I don’t rate chain stores more than once since it’s all basically the same, but I do make exceptions for stores with noteworthy interiors. The one here is definitely noteworthy.
This Braum’s is situated in the older part of Plano. When you walk in, it’s like time travelling back to the early 90’s. I’m not sure when it was built, but that’s what the interior looks like. The mottled grey floor tile is there. The white tile on the wall is there. There’s that really light colored wood trim that I think is birch all along the ceiling. There’s lots of neon signage on the inside. There’s plentiful booth seating of all shapes and sizes. To top it all off is Braum’s very 80’s mauve and teal colors. The store here is kind of dirty too, so it really adds to the effect because the early 90’s had some carryover from the dingy 80’s.

Kids running the store, the manager assistant has absolutely no idea how to take care of customers.
Constantly out of ice cream (is this a joke???).
Will NOT come back.

Some of the worst ice cream Iv had ever!!! It would have been better to go get the cheapest ice cream from a the dingiest grocery store. Shivering with disgust.

Limeaid, half the syrup… LARGE please! :) yum, perfect for quenching your thirst!

This location needs some management. Went in for breakfast and there was no one at the register. After about a minute a person appeared and took my order. I ordered biscuits and gravy and coffee. I was given a cup and told the coffee was on a counter. There was an open coffee pot with no warming feature other than its own insulation, just a pot sitting on a wire rack. The area was dirty and there was a dirty rag and unopened package of straws lying on the counter in front of the coffee. I got my order and went to a seat. The floor had not been swept. I was 8:06 AM and it appears to me that the floor should have been swept as there was only one customer in the place. I noticed the staff was constantly talking and just ignoring customers who had to wait until the employees got through with the conversations. The food was OK but nothing outstanding. I went back for a coffee refill and the same unattended pot sitting on a wire rack had not been touched by anyone. The coffee by the time I left was just warm. With just a little attention this could be a good location however the way it is now is is «just there» with very little TLC.

Terrible. First, the girl helping us didn’t even ask if we were ready to order. She simply stared at us forcing me to ask if she was ready. Next, I ordered a German chocolate sundae. She had no idea what I was talking about and after I said it was on the menu, she went to ask someone. She came back and made something… Certainly not what you’d expect a German chocolate sundae to be. I got a scoop of chocolate ice cream, a ton of hot fudge (probably equal portions of fudge to ice cream), some almonds and whipped cream. Once we paid and sat down, my sundae was basically chocolate soup. I couldn’t eat more than half of the tiny sundae as it was definitely not cold anymore. Will never be going again. Dairy Queen makes a better sundae for sure.

These folks are all over the board!
The burgers are pretty good– better than I would have expected– but the service is always hit and miss. half the time, my order (drive thru) is wrong… and you can ALWAYS watch the window clerk scrambling frantically to get everything done. I can’t imagine that environment being very clean, but I decided to keep blind to it because of the convenience for me.
I have been amazed at the quality of grocery type items inside– I never would think to hit a Braum’s for a pound of ground beef– but they have it!
I’m certainly not going to put them on the top of my burger list– but for this intersection of Plano, it’s a top 2 (Scottty P’s is there too!).

This ice cream store located in Central Plano, has an excellent choice of ice cream flavors… I had the vanilla walnut… double scoop… and had to have it in a cup… rather than a cone… I was waited on promptly… this is a must to finish off any meal, or if ya just want an ice cream…

Went to this Braum’s and ordered a Banana Split. The person making it totally screwed it up as if he had never seen one before. His excuse was he was new, but if you don’t know hot to make one — ASK! I got three scoops of ice cream with just chocolate sauce. Was so pissed I was cussing the whole way home. Will not buy anything at this store again!

Yum! Good ice cream sundae’s.
This reminds me a lot of Friendly’s back in NY, but maybe a notch below because they don’t have as much food choice.
The ice cream is fresh and i’m told is shipped here daily?
Also took home a cheesecake from their store and it was quite enjoyable.
