Of all the ice cream stores… I still love Ben and Jerrys there flavors are outstanding!!!

When you first walk in the floors are really really sticky! Borderline gross. Way too pricy for ice cream. I think it’s way over priced because your paying for the names they place on each of the ice cream flavors. Why not just call it coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks. Nothing special about the flavors except they are expensive!

They don’t have the Totally baked flavor but any of the other flavors will suffice. I’m willing to try new flavors. The ice cream is kind of expensive but it’s really good. they also have ice cream cakes here and you choose your ice cream. I got two ice cream cakes here for my birthday.

We were disappointed, really. The scoops were so small that I can’t honestly justify going back to pay the high price. For what I paid for two sundays I could have bought 2 pints at the grocery store. I felt like I got a mountain of bland whipped cream on top of a couple tablespoons of the good stuff. 3 stars because the staff was great, and they did have a couple flavors that I’d never seen before(which were delicious) but I doubt we’ll ever go back.

i would give this a 1 star if the service wasn’t so good. the bearded young guy offered me samples, a lid, even showed me a smaller size i ended up choosing bc it was perfect. all these proactive things earned them a star im giving this place because the prices are INSANE. i do better than i deserve financially and have no issues spending $ 300 a plate at le bernardin but this place, a CHILD’s scoop is $ 3.99 plus tax. thats the price of a pint up the street! the only reason i went here is because the website said i could find a limited time only flavor here and of course it wasn’t there yet. in fact i dont think a single flavor was exclusive to the stores which seems like a lost opportunity to drive traffic. in addition i saw that the store, which i left right before coming here, actually had way more flavor options. blows my mind. $ 3.99 plus tax for CHILD’s scoop. not worth it. the ice cream is legit but we all know that

Ben & Jerry’s is synonymous with«tasty»! I have been a fan of their ice cream for as long as I can remember. I think I was 17(a LOOONG time ago) when I discovered the deliciousness that is Chubby Hubby. It’s seriously my favorite flavor of all time. Quite frankly, I preferred the original recipe(with the peanut butter filled chocolate covered pretzels), but I support the company moving forward with their Fairtrade efforts, so no hate coming from me. That being said, DFW is really lucky to have a scoop shop! Believe you me, I love me some Blue Bell(hopefully they get their stuff together soon), but there’s room in my heart for both companies. The first B&J scoop shop I went to was on Haight Ashbury – that’s freaking iconic, right? We should love, support and frequent our scoop shop here. The shop itself is pretty small, which was not a deterrent for me. They have about 30 different flavors under the glass, and they also sell their prepackaged pints(the same ones you can get at other stores). The pints are pretty pricey at $ 6.49 each, but they carry flavors that I haven’t seen in stores and difficult flavors to find(hello Chubby Hubby). I ended up buying a pint of one of the flavors I’ve never tried before, and I’ll certainly go back to this store to try others. The only thing I found irritating on this visit were the 3 high school boys who didn’t understand that we’re all dealing with a small space, and they were totally unaware that they were just 100% in the way. It’s cool, though. I enjoyed my ice cream and I’ll be back because I want to support the shop.

Let me start by saying that I went here when they had their free cone day i didn’t know what it meant i thought you buy the Ice-Cream and they give you the cone for free but no they give you a free scoop of choice on the cone, the ice cream didn’t impress me honestly i had better the flavor was not creamy neither flavorful If you like Ben and Jerry’s is ok but I have never been a big fan of them. Will try it next time just to see if I maybe wrong for now this is my impression. Store is too small. Restrooms are very dirty. People where very friendly.

Enjoyed my dessert with my friends! The ice creams are so good, each flavor is distinct(relished it in short)

This review is only for their«ice cream cake»… which is the biggest let down if you are expecting cake in your ice cream cake. They should call it something else such as cake-shaped and frosted non-cake. Am I the only one that finds this ridiculous? At least describe your non-cakes adequately as to not confuse and or trick people.

I have to admit that being from New England originally I have a soft spot for the two hippies fromJersey. Food — 4 stars It was very good. If you are a B&J regular they have all the flavors you could want and they tasted great. Over the past few years I have grown to like Frozen Custard better than ice cream so this was the first time I had it in a while. Frozen Custard is way better… but this was still very good. Place — 2 stars The location itself was fine. Easy access from Preston Rd. and pleny of parking. It’s what you would call an «in-line» location and definately under 1,000 square feet. Feels very cramped with just a few people. Also since ice cream is such a fun event I hate that there is no where fun to enjoy it here. The interior has a a few dingy seats and there is a 1 or two old tables from home depot outside. If I’m going to go out for ice cream I want a better eating experience. Also…the place was old and in need of a facelift. Pretty dirty and dingy. Service — 5 stars. They only had 1 employee working. She was fantastic. Recommended a ton of flavors and let us sample a bunch of flavors. Price — 1 star I could not believe the price. We got 3 kiddie cups which was 1 scoop each and it’s served in the smallest cup. The bill was $ 13 dollars. After I left I figured it must have been a mistake… if I make it back I’ll update my review and let you know.

This Ben & Jerry’s is a wonderfully located location, but it is cramp when about 5 people are in the store. The space is so narrow. Also, their ice cream melts way too quickly. I do enjoy the variety they have, and the ice cream is tasty.

Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Ice Cream is an ice cream shop in Plano that serves up Ben & Jerry’s flavors. It’s a fantastic stop for the Ben & Jerry’s fan who likes like unique flavors. My Overall Rating — 3 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Located in a shopping strip, Ben & Jerry’s is actually pretty small. You’ll find a narrow row of tables(only two people can sit without being crowded) and then the left side houses the many flavors. It’s brightly lit but too packed in for my tastes. ½ Star. Service — It was cash only at the time we went. Not a big deal, but cashless patrons should take heed. They only had one worker for a Friday night. Luckily it wasn’t too busy, and he was fast and friendly. Now, one thing that was a bonus was that he gave out huge scoops. We ordered kids scoops but they easily could have been regular size. So big we ended up sharing, so thanks Mr. Scoop guy! 1 Star. Food — So if you love Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, you’ll love their flavors as they ONLY carry those flavors. Now they are pretty unique, and they carry more flavors than what you’ll find in stores. However, I found that I ended up ordering what I usually get at the store. Therein lies the problem. Like I said, B&J fans will have a ball. But there’s something to be said about rolling into an ice cream shop and looking for something completely unique(where you can’t buy it anywhere). Plus, you do end up paying a premium vs. just buying a pint at your grocer. 1 Star. Will I Return? — Only when it’s convenient. I’ve only been here at most twice in the last 10 years. You tend to forget about the flavors when you see it at the store so often. Personally I would rather go to Henry’s Ice Cream, Braums, and Baskin Robbins. It’s still a safe bet, but ice cream is meant to be enjoyed spontaneously. It’s not as fun if you know what the flavors are. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

I love B&J’s ice cream. This location is sup par. It’s dirty and dingy and by dirty, I mean there a splashes of sticky ice cream goo on everything, including higher up on the ceiling than you would imagine possible. It’s obviously in need of a deep cleaning or a remodel. The staff ignored us for a good 10 minutes and weren’t friendly. That usually doesn’t bother me much, but they weren’t even trying the least bit to hide their apathy. The cone my friend got was stale and the chocolate coating, greasy and waxy. My brownie sundae was great, but next time I’ll just pick up the ingredients at a grocery store and assemble it myself.

This location feel s really small. There are two cases of about 8 flavors each. The guy who was behind the counter was not friendly at all. I got the feeling that he was annoyed, even without asking for anything. After we ordered, we were looking for spoons and napkins and he said sharply, «They’re over there!». Rude I got mint chocolate chip and it had a gritty consistancy. We tried to enjoy our ice cream inside at one of the tables but some loud, obnoxious teenagers entered and one exclaimed, «Chocolate therapy?! I need chocolate therapy! I’m going to get so fu#&@ng fat!»

Sunday night ice cream tradition, holla! Once in awhile I’ll stray from Ben & Jerry’s, but I always come back. It’s not THE best ice cream in the world, but it is substantially better than the competitors in the same price range. I love the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. LOVE. IT This location is small, and you would do well to time your arrival during non peak times. Staff is always friendly and willing to give my child the 43843890349803439128576 samples he asks for.

This place sells ice cream cone earrings. ‘Nuff said! But seriously, fresh Ben & Jerry’s flavors in a freakin’ scoop shop?! How can that be bad?! It can’t! The staff was friendly and happy. The shope itself is tiiiiiiny, but that’s not why you came here, is it. The ice cream is incredible. I ordered the Cookie Cookie Sundae, which is basically two of the homemade cookies they have(which I could eat by themselves, because they taste like Granny made them) and then ice cream, and a topping. I had a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter cookie, cookies and sweet cream ice cream, and fruity pebbles topping. I love this place and am now spoiled and can’t have any other scoop shop ice cream.

The service wasn’t anything special but of course the delicious ice cream makes up for that and then some. I had a double scoop of milk and cookies-holy cow! I have a new favorite. To the dude working the counter: You said they discontinued one of my top flavors which I thought was wierd but since you worked there I believed you. I saw Oatmeal choc chunk right where I expected it to be at the grocery store so thanks a lot for the unecessary heartache. I expected people who work for Ben and Jerry’s to really know their stuff. Training needs to be done.

A very small ben and jerry’s ice cream shop. The selection is pretty good! And i like the location. It’s right next to a tex mex restaurant that we like so it makes out for a good date night treat. Only been there once so far and the staff is pretty interesting. The rastafarian guy needs to get a belt! He seems very sluggish. There isn’t any seating inside theres 2 umbrella tables outside. That’s about it. Might be better eating in the car; but i’d like to avoid that.

Small ice cream shop with the infamous Ben & Jerry’s treat! Small shop, good ice cream and selection. The cones and cone bowls are made fresh and to order. Qualms: VERY small. Then again, you usually get ice cream and leave. Staff was apathetic. They didn’t have my fav flavor.

I don’t know but sometimes I need a break from froyo. I’ve seen this place as I drove by sometimes and had always wanted to try this place. I thought they would have other selections then whats @ the market. I was wrong… the kids size was about $ 3.50 but it was like half the size of a pint. I got the Maple Blondie which was alright not the best though. But when the worker was scooping out the ice cream there was pretty much nothing there. ??Did they run out of it so quickly or was that ice cream there for weeks? Another place I will not go to waste money or gas cause I can pick up a pint at the market. They pretty much have the same flavor and it seems they were made at the same time. I am still a fan of B&J Chunky Monkey though!
