My problem with this facility is that I was charged upfront for the procedure and my insurance company subsequently paid the bill. Four months later I’m still waiting for a refund and getting the runaround every time I call to check on it. I doubt I’ll use this facility the next time, specifically for this reason.

I decided to dock another star because, like most centers, none of the anesthesiologists is on any major insurance plan. Months later, you’ll be surprised by a $ 1000 + bill. That’s so uncool. Even if you’re at in network facility, using an in network doctor, the ONE person — the anesthesiologist who walks in the room– you have no control over, is the one who is not going to be on your insurance. You see, they get more money getting you to pay that incredibly high bill than what they would be paid by an insurance company. It’s unconscionable.
