Ordered to via EAT24. Clunky app. Ordered butter chicken med spicy and 2 sides samosa and chili panner. with naan. Maxing out business travel food budget which is OK. Didn’t know wait time so arrived 25 minutes early? 3 people in the restaurant and 1 other 2-go order waiting. Hostess didn’t think to say hello or welcome or anything. I had stop her to ask about service. 25 minutes later my food came out exactly with another order that was similar. Makes me think i waited a little while longer than necessary. When i asked for utensils i was hand 4 unwrapped spoons handle first… What? No forks or knives available… What? Food was spot on! Only the Naan was only bland item and i got the garlic kind Butter chicken was rich and correct amount if spicy. Chili paneer had a kick and samosas were well prepared. Net /Net. Food is good. Staff needs service and food handling training. Hope it makes it. Food

Lunch today was two orders of Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani to go. This $ 12 – 13 meal included quick service, a big(two hand) portion, and two sauces(curry and yogurt). The goat was tender and flavorful, but –warning the bones are still attached. The spice of the dish sneaks up on you and is quite powerful. No sauce was necessary. Delicious. The place seems to have a nice banquet hall and a bakery display, too… will have to go back to check it out. :)

I live in NJ and I tried Bawarchi(Iselin, NJ) and many other so called«Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani». Very reluctant at first to try this place, but eating here was a very pleasant(unexpectedly) experience. Spice level was just perfect, starters were awesome. Service is quick. Would love to come back here over and over again.

The waiter was very helpful. We experimented several dishes. They were all good. No alcohol served.

I’m a huge fan of the Bawarchi in Richardson, but I happened to be in the Plano area and was craving some good Chole Batura like the kind I’ve had there. My friend and I came at about 12:30 in the afternoon and it was still pretty crowded, which seemed like a good sign. We were brought to a table that had a jug of tepid water, a ketchup bottle, and a salt shaker on it. We both knew what we wanted and quickly ordered a Gobi Manchuria appetizer, Chole Batura, and Puri Bhaji. The Chole Batura came out first, surprisingly. The Chole was a little watery and wasn’t very flavorful, but the Batura was crisp and delicious! The Gobi was only good for the first few crispy pieces, and then it soon devolved into a gooey mess. The Puri was wonderful, and the bhaji was good but made better by adding a few dashes of salt. The service was fine, the food was simply okay. I will definitely be going back to my usual Richardson Bawarchi’s.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! Oh my gosh, seriously, it’s reaaaallly bad. Waiters don’t care, they basically walk away while you’re still ordering, they’re grumpy and 100% inattentive. So why 5 stars? The food is sooo yummy! And for real, the service is SOOOOO bad that it totally cracks us up. It’s better than the«bad» service at Dick’s, which is purposely bad, because this is authentically TERRIBLE!!! Come check it out, bring your sense of humor and your appetite. ;)

Bawarchi has spicy, tasty food. Their togo food is good enough for 2 servings. Dosa and Briyani are the one I liked most. Service is good too. They have good collection of snacks, cakes and sweets too.

The service and wait times are terrible. While the food is not bad when you consider the overall experience it’s not worth it at all. I’m not sure I will be coming back here.

The food is good. They take some time to prepare tandoor stuff. Yesterday, I had placed an order online. It mentioned about 25 to 30 mins of preparation time. I ordered at 5:50 pm and pickup time was mentioned 6:30 pm. When I went at the scheduled time, it was not ready. I got my order at 6:55 pm. When I mentioned that why does it take this long their arrogant reply was«Your order is ready. What are you complaining about?» Their food may be very tasty but the customer service spoils it all. I am done with them forever. If you still want to try their food, have plenty of time in hand and never complain or get insulted.

On both visits, I tried the briyani — chicken and mutton. Portions are huge, good for two meals or shared among two. I suppose that justifies for the higher price point. On both visits I had the mango lassi. It is to-die-for. If you want a pick me up drink, please try.

I don’t know my Indian food so I cannot comment too much on that aspect, but what I ordered, a goat biryani, was excellent and I cannot wait to try the other things on the menu. Also, service was great as well.

Really liked this place. You smell this place from the nearby street. the funny part it that I liked everything in my place but not really impressed with the Biryani. It looked like a fast food place with counters and a lining up place. But actually could sit down and order form the menu. The lunch combos looked pretty good. I was debating between the Dosa with goat curry and Goat biryani curry. Ended up getting Dosa as one of my co-workers kindly offered to let me try his goat Biryani. Dosa with goat curry was prefect. Just as I expected, delicious, spicy, and fresh. Always enjoyed the Dosa rice taste with the curry together. Highly recommend this lunch combo. The Birayani was not at the same level as the goat curry but still pretty good. The Chinese stype fried rice was not great neither per my coworker. The services were pretty good except the masala tea took a long time to come. Will come again when I am in town.

I live in lewisville, but whatever, i travel 18 miles everyday just to taste some best south indian authentic food. They are best at taste, quality, quantity, hospitality, fast service, BESTSTAFFEVER. Best thing about this restaurant is you will find many varieties of biryanis, everyone must try everday lunch combos and special biryani available on specific days. Mutton fry biryani, chicken fry biryani and naatu kodi pulav is the besttttt… Bawarchi Biryani Point is the best point to taste good authentic south indian food as well as indo-chineese as well. «Thank god… You know what ?? my work place is close to this Bawarchi Restaurant»

One of the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Food was deliciously spicy, menu was amazing, service was fast and friendly. Really good value for the money. Atmosphere, décor, and service is really nice. I love the biryani’s here be it paneer, hydrabadi or boneless chicken. I frequently visit this restaurant for my love of biryani :) If you are in this area and want to eat Biryani, this is the place you should go.

Atmosphere, décor, and service is not much to write about, but the food is delicious! We haven’t had anything bad here, but our favorite to-go order is the Bawarchi boneless chicken Biryani family meal. It comes out to about $ 30 and is more than enough for our family of 4. The chef choice of appetizer which comes with the meal is frequently chicken 65 — the best chicken 65 I’ve tried in the DFW area. The restaurant case also has a lot of snack/desert offerings that are not on the menu. I really enjoy the vegetable pakora when it’s available, but it does run out fast.

I’ve been coming here since it opened up and this place is BUSY! There’s a constant stream of customers in and out the door, many come for dine in but it seems that more than half their orders are carry out orders. The service is pretty poor, even for an Indian establishment which are notorious for not so stellar customer service this place is one of the worst. I’ve had issues with my to go order getting lost, no silverware when we dine in etc. I guess a lot of their issues are because they are so busy. Now for the food, it’s the reason I come back to this place over and over again. This is a biryani place so I definitely recommend trying one of their many biryani dishes. They are one of the best I’ve had, it’s hard to find good biryani when dining out. Their appetizers are really good as well. The chicken 85 and chicken chili are so spicy and delicious! The dosa dishes are not my favorite. There’s much better dosa at Royal or Taj. But over all they have a huge menu with a wide variety of dishes. The North Indian dishes and biryani are done really well here. If you want dosa I would go elsewhere.

I haven’t been to Bawarchi Biryani Point in years… but, after talking to a friend about Indian restaurants to try in Plano, this one did ring a bell. I used to always come for lunch here to have their Chicken Tikka Masala or their Dosa, and the food was always great. I can even remember a few times getting some of their treats. I’ve never really been a fan of the desserts due to how sweet they are, but that’s because I like more dry type desserts. The vegetables samosas are also really good from what I can remember. I like how the food doesn’t take too long to get once ordered. However, I do wish their samosas were made fresh to order instead of already being in the showcase premade. If I’m ever in the area again and need a quick lunch or snack, I may return to see if they are still as good as they were back when I used to go!

This was my third time at Bawarchi and I can’t get enough. It’s not your run of the mill Indian food and don’t expect to find some of the standards you expect. Expand your mind. We went on Saturday night about 6:00pm and we were the only Caucasians throughout the meal. The food is more Hydrerabadi and can be very spicy. We ordered the fried cauliflower to start. Our shareable entrees included goat byriani, butter chicken(most excellent), masala dosa(fantastic) with four dipping sauces. Also had the garlic naan. Service was good but there was a bit of a language barrier. I had planned to order the thalli but they don’t offer it at dinner. Our selections were right on the mark. For the three of us it was $ 40, no drinks. This is one of my favorite Indian cafes.

I don’t know weather I should give this place a 2 or 3 star review. Let’s talk about the food first. My favorite thing ever here is the chili chicken. It is soooo good, but sooo spicy. Me and my friend finished a whole pitcher of water because of the spiciness. It is not the intolerable kind of spicy, it is more like the addicting spicy that you can’t get enough of. The samboosa chaat is soo good. It spicy and sweet together. The hyberbad biryani is okay 2 stars, and so is the tikka masala(3.5 stars). The dessert is not so great here. What really rubbed me the wrong way about this place is the service, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. There was only one other couple in the restaurant, and the guy brought us two glasses stacked on top of each other with a pitcher of water. The water was lukewarm, and no ice. Seriously, how lazy can you be. Not to mention that there is a section for«tip» when they bring out your check. Although I like those two dishes I listed above, I still think the food can be a little bit more fresher. FOODISVERYSPICYHERE.
