Got the groupon for laser hair removal a while back. Went for 6 treatments for my upper lip and underarm. There was absolutely no difference. My friends have been going to other places and they noticed a difference within 2 treatments. I wish I read the reviews before coming here. There are other better places for laser hair removal.

I got the oxygen facial for my wedding on Saturday with Ladan and my skin is glowing! It even feels revitalized and more full. I highly recommend her for your next facial.

I’ve purchased three Groupons for airbrush tans from Avanti over the past two years and love them! I’ve always received excellent customer service and my tans have always turned out perfect!

I’ve been a client of Avanti Skin Center for two years, and have been very pleased with their services. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My microdermabrasion treatments with Joy are always… a joy :) The room is dimly lit, a warm cozy blanket is offered, and the microderm is followed by a facial and light massage. Ladan and Morrisa are skilled with the Alma treatments, and I have complete confidence in their expertise. I have been to dozens (literally) of spas and med-​spas in the dfw area, and can tell you from experience that Avanti is first class.

I have been going to Joy Lavender for almost 2 years and she has really help me change the look and texture of my skin. I recommend working with Joy for facials and lasers. She is also very knowledgeable about products that actually work. I wouldn’t hesitate going here! She is fantastic :)

DO NOT DO LASER HAIR REMOVAL AT AVANTI. This place is a joke. I purchased a package of 6 laser hair removal treatments. I did not notice any difference after the first treatment. Being patient, because it know it takes time to see results, the second time I came in, the technician said they increase the jewels (which is the strength of the laser) each time. WHAT… so I am not getting the highest level each time. I could not make this up. So, I asked why they do that and the technician said it’s so your face can get use to the laser. Really? Um, no. So, I decided to go back a 3^rd time (not sure why) and I found out that they used the same jewel level on me as they did the second time I went. Again, I was shocked and could not believe they were using the same LOWEST level each time I came in for a treatment. NO wonder I was not seeing results. I called around to other laser hair clinics in the Dallas/​Plano area and they all said that they use the highest level strength so the clients can actually see some results. In fact, one lady I spoke with at another place told me the laser that was being used on me (the YAG) is actually for dark skinned (African American/​Indian) skin tones. My skin is VERY fair and I sunburn easily. So, it seems they were using the wrong laser for my skin tone. I hope people do their research. I am sure other clinics that use this same laser (the YAG) actually use it the correct way and on the correct patients (with dark skin tones) and I’m sure some people would see results… but not at Avanti. With that being said… it’s unfortunate that places take advantage of people this way. It seems they use the lowest strength so you can keep purchasing more packages. They always said «it takes a long time to see results. You will need more than 6 treatments.» Yea, that’s because your lame clinic is not using the highest strength level and using the wrong laser. The clinic itself is nice and the technicians are nice, but don’t let that fool you because their practices are not nice. Do yourself a favor and get laser hair removal at another place. You will be wasting your time and money if you go here.

I waited for a long while after my six treatments for underarm laser hair removal so I can give a thorough review. They were professional from the start. It was pretty easy to get an appointment here and I didn’t have to wait for weeks to get in for my first treatment. They scheduled up to two appointments ahead of time which made it super easy to stay on track for the recommended 8 weeks between treatments. I’m Creole-​Black-​Kuwaiti-​Irish, so I have dark, thick hair on my head. Before I started the treatments, the dark pores on my underarms were easily visible when I shaved, but by the third treatment I could see results. The hair was growing back thinner and the dark pores were lightening up immensely. By treatment 6, the hair took weeks to grow even a little, and my underarms were the same color as the rest of my arms. I have to be really careful about which laser hair removal centers I patronize since I have darker skin, but I suffered no burns or bruising or anything else with their equipment. Since I’ll be working in Dallas again soon I’m going back to Avanti for treatment on a different area, and it is such a relief that I don’t have to have a different technician every time (unlike that disaster in Las Colinas I reviewed last year).

I will never go back to this place again! I was told they have a promotion for $ 4 per unit of Botox and before making an appointment, Joy and Michelle confirmed that they have the promo for one day only. I drove 30 miles to get the promo and right before getting the Botox, I was told the $ 4 per unit is for the Dysport. They wasted my time and gas and there wasn’t even an apology made! Extremely bad front office customer service! They don’t even deserve a one star rating! They don’t deserve a star at all!!!

Had terrible experience. Took so much time to do the spray tan and walked out no darker than when i walked in. They said it would get darker within the day. Nothing happened. I was willing to give up ½ of my money just so i didnt waste my time going back and getting nothing for my time. Beware there are so much better tanning places in the area~

Everything about this establishment is great (location, staff, cleanness, price) except that the laser hair removal doesn’t work, argh! I’ve completed all six sessions and throughout my sessions and after I’m done I noticed zero difference in hair growth. It’s not just me but my friend is having no results either. I still walking around with my little Hitler mustache.

Kristin Scofield, RN is hands down the best employee they have. Not only is Kristin genuine and honest, she’s extremely knowledgeable about ALL things ‘injectable’. Kristin has done an amazing job and I love her for it. I will continue to refer everyone I know who’s interested in ‘staying young’ to her and Avanti Skin Center of Willow Bend.

Good thing that I went there with a coupon because I would have hated to pay full price for the facial that I received. My face felt greasy afterwards and when I got home and looked in the mirror I noticed that she did not completely remove the mask because my face still had a residue. After the treatment, they tey to push you into buying a club type membership. It took a month to get a 45 minute appt so I wonder how you would benefit from a membership.

Beware! It is a bait and switch! I made an appt. for laser hair removal and was quoted a fair price over the phone and took a vacation day from work and the day I arrived they had almost doubled the price. I told them my frustrations and their manager said sorry, our employee should have never made that quote over the phone and I had no choice but to leave and they never cared that I took off work and that they were losing my business, NO Class at all! I am sick of these type of companies, they have no ethics or morals, it is all about the $$$. $ 3−4k for 5 – 6 laser treatments on 3 – 4 areas is ridiculous! BEWARE!

The only two issues I have with this facility is A) I went there for four sessions of laser hair removal (I have dark thin hair so it should work well) and did not see one spot of hairless. B) I went three times to have laser removal and all three times requested numbing before the actual laser. But on the fourth one they said they didn’t have time to do my numbing so they just gave me ice (nice customer service).
