I have always been a great patron of your shoes and belts but my last experience will be my last with your shoes.
Some stitching was coming undone on my favorite pair of Daltons so I took them to your WillowBend mall location in Plano TX. The sales person told me that because I had my shoes re-​soled somewhere else that he didn’t think AE would fix the stitching. Since his answer was wishy-​washy at best, I asked him to send them in to make sure.
3 points I want to make
1– I had no idea that AE Re-​soled and reconditioned shoes but granted, I only have 6 pairs of your shoes probably totaling less than $ 2,500 so why would a sales person want to mention that?
2– I had to come in 3 weeks later to find out what the status of my shoes were and they were in exactly the same state as I left them. I don’t think they ever left the store.
3– why did I have to follow up to see where my shoes were?
One other comment I’d like to make.
The first pair of Daltons I was sold I barely wear because I believed your salesman when he told me that they would stretch out. Nice $ 450 mistake.
You make good shoes. Too bad you don’t have people to sell your product that care about your customers

These are great shoes. Allen-​Edmonds are my go to brand for shoes. I have 10+ pairs. They are one of the few manufacturers of extra wide shoes in the US. And one of the only quality shoes that is manufactured in the United States. The shoes are American made, top quality, comfortable, and stylish. The shoes aren’t cheap, nor excessively expensive. A lot of quality for the money though.
