Amazing canoli cake and tasted just as amazing even when left in the fridge to finish. Really faired price for the quality, smallest cake u can get is $ 20 and its a good size for that price. Head cashier was super nice and answered all of our questions. Recommend highly if u want a good bakery cake

When in to try some cake before ordering for a birthday party. Owner is so incredibly friendly and hospitable, who reminds me of my wonderful dad. Cake was awesome and prices were very reasonable. This will be my only go to bakery now.

This is my favorite bakery in town. They have a wide variety of Italian pastries, pizza, cookies and stuffed breads. The stuffed bread is usually pretty large and pretty stuffed compared to others I’ve had in the area. There’s also a larger variety in fillings. In my opinion they have the best cannoli in the area(vanilla, chocolate or my personal favorite ricotta with nuts or chocolate chips) and the cannoli cake with puff pastry is very good as well. They usually have free sample of cookies. I think the pricing is very fair and the service is exceptional. Everyone is always so nice to me and willing to help me bring pastries to my car.

Absolutely hard to get any better. The owner and baker Sal is awesome and makes the most delectable and authenticate Italian treats. The pepper biscuits have the perfect balance, the cookies are always fresh and to die for. The prices are more than reasonable given the quality. If you talk to Sal, it’s like he’s known you his entire life and makes you feel welcomed and part of his extended family. Love a nice independently owned business that takes pride in their product and customer service. Keep up the good work.

They don’t have Italian bakeries like this in Vermont where I live. I tripped over Mangiafico’s when I needed directions to the local Catholic church. After services returned to load up on Italian cookies and treats to get me back home. I should have bought more anisette biscotti as I had to return to make up for the ones I ate back at the hotel before checking out. This a great place with a friendly staff. And if you need a Sicilian flag they got ‘em!

This bakery is fantastic, the prices are sooooo incredibly reasonable. The Sicilian pizza is to die for, if you stop in and buy a slice which is just over a dollar mind you, ask them to heat it up for you, it is so good, natural ingredients, perfect balance of cheese, crust, and sauce. I always stop in for a treat after my haircut and salon services next door at Mari J Salon. I have ordered two cakes and everyone wants to know where I get the cakes. A well deserved five stars… To be honest, this is one of those places you wish there was an option for a sixth star or a super star.

Love Mangificos! I order a cannoli cake every year — ask for the puff pastry filling. It’s to die for! I have never ordered the Italian cookies but they always look delicious. The breads are fresh and tasty. I am such a huge fan of the cannoli cake, I look forward to it every year at Christmas! Best bakery in Plainville!

Mangiafico’s makes the best cakes. Every time It’s someone’s birthday this is where the cake has to come from. The chocolate bar cake is the best. Cannoli’s are awesome.

This is the best pastry shop in the area. Small shop, not mass produced like another down the street. Best cannolis!

Amazing pastries at a great price. The cannolis are the best I’ve ever had… better than NYC Little Italy or even Boston.(I was born in Italy and high very high expectations). I would love the bakery to be open a little later in the evening on weekends for those that would like to stop by for a treat.

My stopped in last Tuesday and purchased 2 cannolis and a mini lemon meringue pie. The shell on the cannolis was crisp and light. The ricotta filling was delicious. The lemon meringue pie was nothing special.

Not just your average Italian Pastry Shoppe! Mangiafico’s goes beyond the almond paste and provides you with a scintillating menu of items from cookies to pies, to canolis to cakes, pizza with a thick crust and yummy sauce, breakfast sandwiches and so much more. Don’t be afraid of the odd shaped parking lot. There are more spaces in the back. My husband won’t let me get his birthday canoli cake(cake made with canoli filling as the icing) anywhere else!

I can’t believe that this place has no reviews! I’ve been coming here for years specifically for their Canolies. They have the most amazing chocolate covered ricotta filled canolies that I would suggest everyone on the planet must try before they die! It’s hard to not go to this place for them when I am in town. They have other pastries and cake that are good too. Their strombolis are an awesome lunch. They have ok cheesecake — not the worst, but not the best. They aren’t open Mondays.
