It’s a diner where you can go and get what ever your in the mood for. Like I said it is a diner so expect diner food and you’ll be pleased. Someone is always there asking if you need anything.

Great breakfasts. Order just the way you like it. Comes out hot and perfect. But the coffee is awful. Tastes like boiled twigs. Gotta work on that!

Stopped here for a quick lunch en route to pick up our new car. The waitress was a sweetheart and the food was simple, affordable and very good. The grilled cheese was perfectly grilled and not soggy. The fries were crispy and hot when delivered. The scrod was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I recommend this diner. We are never in this area so it’s sad to say we probably won’t eat here again. But it was great!

I have noticed a decline in the past few years. Last Friday I took a friend for lunch. I wanted breakfast. The waitress asked and I pointed to a special, two eggs, two French toast and bacon. When I got my order it was a full order of B&E and Full order of French Toast with a side of bacon: Two Meals!!! The waitress said, oh that special is only until 11. It did say that in small print when I went back and looked, BUT I had pointed at it in the menu! I told her I wasn’t paying for two meals to which she replied, I’ll take it off but they will make me pay for it! So, she removed the second meal, I tipped her plenty to cover it anyway. I will CERTAINLYNEVERGOTHEREAGAIN!!!

Absolutely the worst experience and service ever rendered. I ordered 2BLUEBERRY pancakes with sausage, not rocket science right? TINA the waitress told me NO, I’d have to order 3 blueberry pancakes and sausage, or otherwise just get 2 plain pancakes cuz she obviously didn’t know how to up-charge $ 0.75 for blueberries. So after that she turned around and brought out French toast, I also asked to have a glass of orange juice come out with my breakfast, she couldn’t manage to do that either, this woman was nothing but completely incompetent. Then when I talked to her manager to fix the problem, this stupid 45 yr old proceeded to call me a liar and other names INFRONTOFMANAGEMENT! Needless to say the customer is always right, she got no tip, yelled at by management, and a bad review on Unilocal.Karmas a bitch Tina, and I wouldn’t go around calling customers liars when ur job depends on getting orders right. If u do decide u would like to eat at this hole in the wall, avoid the ugly lil gremlin waitress named Tina with nappy black curly hair… that gets in ur food. Complete disappointment, food on a scale of 1 – 10 is a 4. Service was a 1, only satisfaction was watching her get yelled at like a child by her boss for being completely unprofessional.

We keep trying, but the only thing consistent is the very SLOOOW service, cold and burned food. We keep saying we will not go back, this time we mean it …

Horrible! My wife ordered a waffle that came out cold and hard, she did not take one bite and we asked for a new one and the owner told us we would have to pay for two waffles. I thought they were joking at first. He charges for a slice of lemon in your water and for boxes to-go! Absolutely worst experience ever, and he treats his female staff like garbage.

I eat breakfast out every weekday. I try and find a local restaurant where I can order my usual egg white cheese omelet with onion and tomatoes. Liberty is one of these restaurants. Food is always good and service is always friendly. Never have to ask for a coffee refill. My coffee cup is always filled up. But what is even more amazing is the LOWCOST. When three of us eat breakfast, the Total cost including coffee is about $ 20.00 I used to use a coupon(no longer) that gave you $ 5.00 off if you spend $ 20.00. When only two of us had breakfast, the only way I could get the $ 5.00 discount is to order an additional meal to go. On occasions, I would switch to a MONTECRISTO sandwich which comes with home fries. I rarely find this favorite of mine on a menu. Liberty offers Monte Cristo and it is good. TRAVELKAL

Had a great breakfast here with a friend. Fast service, friendly waitresses and tasty food. Only 4 starts because the coffee could use some work. Priced right!

Went to liberty for breakfast, waited a short time for an available table. A waitress directed us from the cash register to a table that was newly cleaned. We took our seat, a bowl of empty creamers were on the table, after waiting over 10 minutes, no waitress stopping by or even acknowledging our table we left.

Went to Liberty for breakfast Saturday. The food is very consistant. Really don’t have any complaints. Good for a diner. Had the French Toast and Bacon egg and cheese on hard roll. Ill go back.

Methinks not is right! OMG, I don’t even know where to start. Firstly, I don’t like writing bad reviews — everyone has an off day and the chances are high that’s what I’ve experienced, but secondly, I don’t like the possibility that I could impact a business negatively, however as a consumer I appreciate reviews that are honest because I work hard for my money and don’t want to spend it somewhere where I would feel like it was wasted. So, this will be one of those… our experience at this diner was one of the worst experiences we have had since living here, and I really hope that the owners read these reviews. Breakfast started with being yelled at by our waitress because no one would greet us or tell us if we had to wait to be seated. Once we found our way to a table, she took our drinks; me ice tea, the bf coffee. We have come to expect pretty bad coffee at a cheap diner, and that’s ok, but I don’t think this could even be called coffee… burnt and so watered down that it was more like essence of coffee, at some point. My breakfast was ok — but the potatoes were either raw or very over cooked(mixed), wet and had very strange seasoning on it which I can only guess was creole? However, the BFs breakfast, took the brunt of this negative review. He ordered the steak and eggs, eggs over medium. What he got LOOKED like steak and eggs, but tasted nothing like it. We have concluded that the steak was frozen, put on the grill with the eggs(raw) on top, a bunch of water poured over it and they steamed the entire thing together. The only thing you could taste was egg, which were most definitely steamed and more like a cross between poached and sunny side up. The steak was also dripping in water, and had no flavor at all; it didn’t even taste like meat. He had the same issue with the taters, and just ended up eating the toast. Not ONCE did the waitress come by and ask us how it was, but was more than attentive to the other patrons, didn’t refill drinks and completely ignored us the entire time; wouldn’t even give us the time of day to say that his meal wasn’t good. We went to the front and asked for the check, which caused a whole mess of drama because we couldn’t wait for her to find the time and then without hesitation asked how much tip we wanted to add. Tipping, my nemesis. I can admit that I am a very stringent tipper; I don’t tip for take out and I don’t tip well with bad service or food. But when you do provide good service and at least decent food, I tend to tip well. So when the waitress(who was not ours BTW) said this, we just rounded up to make the bill $ 20(tip 1.18). After the look of confusion and double checking that’s what we wanted, she wrung it through, and we hadn’t even gotten 5 feet from the register when she started in on us to the other staff about how we could tip so low. I understand the frustration small tips can give a waitress because you are working hard(most of the time) for low wages. However, when you purposely ignore people because you want better tips from the other customers, you have it coming. And if you have something to say about how low the tip was, why don’t you say it to my face, or wait till I leave the building? It makes your staff look bad, and us to never want to go back. So congrats, we won’t be back.

This is a great place to grab a decent breakfast at a very reasonable price. You seat yourself, and the waitstaff is friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, and casual. There is a wide selection of food to choose from, and there’s even a lunch menu, I personally think the home fries are great(I ask them to make it crispy)!

Wish I could give this place 2.5 stars… not sure it quite deserves 3. The breakfast was good but not great. It took awhile for the food to arrive, and seemed like it had been sitting in the back waiting to be served for at least 10 minutes — everything was a little cool. The pancakes were not fork-cuttable, I needed my knife. And the toast was stale-ish. Eggs were ok. Bacon was ok. The place was very busy on a Saturday morning. Service was friendly — maybe too friendly? The waitresses ALL had plunging necklines. And a little too flirty for my taste(although my companion appreciated it…) One other complaint: the beverages were small(the small was about 8oz, the«large» was 10−12oz), and they do not offer free refills on soft drinks. The prices were otherwise reasonable, comparable to similar establishments.

This diner serves breakfast and lunch. They close at 3PM during the week and 2PM on weekends. I went here around 11am with my boyfriend on a Sunday. It was very busy. We walked in and there was no one around to seat us and we weren’t sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves. I asked a passing waitress and she told us we could sit wherever there was a seat. There was no room, so we went back up to the counter and that is when another customer told us that we had to give our name. There was a notepad on the counter and my boyfriend wrote our names down since no one was taking names. There’s a little miscommunication and some order is needed. We didn’t have to wait long for a seat. The waitress wasn’t very personable. She didn’t tell us her name or ask us how we were doing. The diner does offer egg whites, but it is not listed on the menu and I think it should be. I ordered an egg white omelette with mushrooms and tomatoes. It was very good. There was a lot of mushrooms and tomatoes, which gave it an excellent flavor. The omellette itself was not dry at all. There was some browning on the omelette from the cooking process, but it didn’t bother me one bit because it was still easy to cut. The omelette comes with homefries and toast. I thought the homefries needed more seasoning and more onions. The onions that were with the potatoes were burnt and crispy. The browning on the potatoes getting cooked was a little overcooked in spots to the point of burnt. However, this crispiness was what gave the potatoes flavor. They were not over or undercooked either. I think the homefries portion was a little small. I also received toast and it already had butter on it. I didn’t think I would have to specify that I don’t want butter on my toast and that it should be put to the side. Here’s a perfect example. I also ordered the french toast. It’s very tasty. It’s light and fluffy and you can cut it with your fork. Now, the butter is put in a little container in case you want it for french toast. Why can’t places do that for toast? There is lack of variety on the jam for your toast. All I saw on the table was a bunch of mixed fruit. Whatever happened to strawberry and grape? These seem more popular than mixed fruit. I still ate the toast because I was hungry, but in future I will specify. I was extremely surprised that their breakfast sides on their menu don’t offer a fruit cup. To me, fruit is popular with breakfast. They do offer blueberry and strawberry as sides. I asked what that was and she told if I wanted a side of blueberries or strawberries for my pancakes. So, I guess I could order a side of blueberries and strawberries and mix them together. It’ s a little strange to me though. I would like to see a mixture of grapes, melon, banana, strawberries as an offering for a fresh fruit cup. My boyfriend ordered a side of corned beef hash and it was not salty or dry. It had a good flavor to it. I had water for my drink and it tasted like it had been filtered or it was well water so I was very happy. Our food took twenty minutes to arrive, which is a long time for breakfast in my opinion, but it was understandable because it was so busy. I like how you can see the chefs behind the counter cooking the food. It’s very old-school. This place is a descent size. The booths are nice and the walls that I saw were nicely decorated with paintings and some type of flower candle holders I believe. It was not loud either. I would go back here again to try their lunch menu and of course breakfast.

Pretty typical diner fare — I’ve only been for breakfast and never really been disappointed… but again, it’s nothing you can’t get at any other diner of the same caliber. I do like that they offer egg whites(though they do not say so on the menu). The french toast is rather good and I’ve always inhaled their omelets(they do NOT skimp on the fillings!). Very large split seating area, so even on the busiest Sunday morning, I’ve never had to wait. Service is quite good, they always have someone making rounds, refilling coffees and whatnot. The waitresses are normally always pleasant and helpful, but like anyone, they’ll have an off day.
