Went to the store to see their selection of professional makeup. I personally use pro makeup now for some years since I realized they worked better for my skin, lasted longer, and were cheaper in the long run. Bought my Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder, and the gentleman helping me was extremely helpful and gracious. I can actually get my pro makeup locally now for the same great price as I’d get online. Wonderful store!

First visit waited an hour just to order the costume. When it was time to pick it up waited another half hour. Got the costume home and their were rips /holes in it. How this was after being told they inspect every costume before and after its rented escapes me. Even more, how this place is still in business is beyond me. Bad, bad, bad.

This is the worst place I have ever been. I went with my husband, son and friend to all buy halloween costumes and we received terrible customer service. All of the costumes were $ 40+ and when I asked to try on a costume in their fitting room I was told no because I picked a costume that wasn’t expensive enough and it was a hassle and waste of their time!!! I couldn’t believe it! To top it off we were the only customers in the store so they weren’t even busy with others to let me try it on! When I asked if I could open the bag to make sure all of the pieces were there the women said, «well the reason it’s on sale is because it could be missing pieces. So buy it as is or don’t» just so rude and unpleasant. Plus the building is freezing cold!!! Will never go back!!!

The workers here are not nice or helpful. Basically this is the only game in town so I guess they don’t think they have to be. You would think when you enter a small business looking to spend hundreds of dollars you would be treated politely, not so. Fortunately my son is very knowledgeable about stage make up and knew exactly what he needed for a haunted house. The workers here offered no help and seemed annoyed. If you go here with your kids keep them close and don’t expect help.

Came here b/c of a groupon. My kids use costumes for creative play + I was looking for a firefighter uniform. This is NOT a fun place to shop: it’s dark(no lights on in the back half of the store), inventory is in piles, prices not always obvious, FREEZING temp, + very few kids costumes. this was in december; the staff said they only put out kids costumes in oct. he gave me a binder of kids costumes to look through(these are in storage upstairs), but no firefighter/police officer/etc. no superheroes either, but a number of medieval/cowboy costumes that may be more useful to theater companies. the staff person was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed w/checking in rental costumes. i looked through most of the adult inventory too; most costumes ran $ 59.99, the cheapest i saw was 39.99. kids costumes also were $ 40, so not a place to find bargains. some props: skulls, swords, etc. but i have a feeling there’s a lot more stuff i didn’t notice b/c it was buried underneath other stuff + it was so dark + freezing i just wanted to get out of there. credit cards for over $ 15.

Just a terrible place with costumes that look like they’ve been on the shelf for years. The ceiling is stained, nobody looks like they work there, and other than the gentleman who seems to be the owner, no one knows anything. I came here for a bowler hat for Halloween and spent $ 10(credit cards accepted for over $ 15 only) for a piece of crap, cracked(they were all cracked), plastic hat that looks like it cost 15 cents to make. I stood at the register for a few minutes wondering if I should just walk out the door before a guy I didn’t even know worked there finally helped me. I then asked him if the store might have another item I was looking for and he looked at me kind of confused, thought for a second, and told me ‘I just got here’. So I thought about diving into the logic of that with him… did he do a mental inventory of the entire store after arriving each day? Or did he mean that today was his first day? I don’t know, but I didn’t think they had it so I took my change and got out of there. If you need some costume at a time other than around Halloween I guess this place is your only choice other than driving down to the shore where there are a few costume stores. But this place sucks.
