Pantano’s Eatery

We ordered from the daily special menu and was not disappointed. I ordered the grilled swiss with pulled pork and reg fries (delicious) and my coworker ordered the grilled cheddar with bacon and avocado and sweet potato fries (also delicious) Tracy and I couldn’t decide what to get so we ordered and split the meals. Pantano’s delivered and was here right away. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely order from here again.

Meh. I sometimes come here when I’m running late to work since its in the same shopping center I work at. I ordered a BEC and the eggs were spongy, a different consistency. I asked for well done bacon and instead got chewy strips. Boo. Other days they can be on point. Never tried the lunch menu but looks like standard deli fare. I figured if you can’t make a good breakfast sandwich the rest won’t be so good.

Went here for lunch while visiting Long Island. Ended up getting a Burnside sandwich (chicken cutlet, melted mozzarella, honey mustard). It was delicious. The chicken cutlet is top-​notch. It came with a side pasta salad.
Also got an iced coffee, half regular half crumb cake. Needless to say, it was perfect.
Won’t hesitate to go back. They have a ton of sandwiches on the board that I’d love to try.
Lastly, the customer service here is really amazing. Really nice people!

I can’t say I’ve tried tons of things at this place, but I know one thing for sure… they know how to make a great Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich. Add some ketchup and pepper too!
The sandwich comes with a small coffee if you order it before 11am. This is my «go to» in the morning if I want a BEC sandwich. You guys should try it!

So I don’t normally post and I wouldn’t waste my time posting about anything unless I thought it was phenomenal. I go to pantanos a few days a week and usually grab breakfast or lunch. Today I got a salad with grilled chicken ! So delicious I love this place and the owner is very nice!!!

Especially love the breakfasts. Fresh, delicious and inexpensive. Small place with only a few small tables. Kinda like you find all over Manhattan. Breakfast is served all day. Nice lunch options too! Staff very nice and very professional. Highly recommended!

Love the food here. Great place to grab a bite to eat when you’re on the go. The owner is super nice and hospitable. I highly suggest Pantanos for your next catering event also.

First time lunch delivery. Delivery was prompt however placing the order wasn’t the best experience for my coworker and she felt the man taking the order was abrupt.
I am a crab cakes addict. Yes! It is true so if you read this and know where the best crab cakes are, please message me! I ordered the mini crab cakes appetizer. Although there was not enough crab in the them, they were a nice snack. There were 7 munchkin sized crab snacks.
As for the iced coffee… I like that it is available in 32 oz and cinnamon!

Had Pantano’s for the first time the other day. I was in the shopping center and needed some lunch. I walked in and Luca (the owner) was really nice and so was his staff. I had «The Guido». I was really impressed. The chicken cutlets were juicy and really crispy, as was the bacon. Good bread too. And it was all put together with care and really reasonably priced. These guys are ace. I can’t wait to try some other stuff on the menu. If you’re nearby, this is the place to go for quick, friendly, and most importantly, REAL food. Keep it up!

Regardless of how «good» their food is, having listening comprehension is key. I ordered French Toast with turkey bacon and this is how they give me their food. I am extremely unhappy and I will not order from them again. You make breakfast but do not know what turkey bacon is? Ugh the nerve!

Love this place!!! Food is always fresh and delicious. Definitely can’t go wrong with Pantano’s.

I want to like this place but I cannot after giving it multiple tries (though their pancakes and breakfast are still pretty good)
I ordered a grilled chicken with grilled vegetable wrap to have for lunch at work. It was ok but the first thing I noticed when I looked at it were a couple of blue dots on the wrap itself. Mold? Ink? Whatever it was, it bothered me and won’t go back for anything other than a coffee.
Their taco salad is boring and bland. Every time I have been in there, there was always a fly around. I understand it happens but its literally every time. flies breed like wild fire so it makes me think what goes on!
I rather drive an extra mile out of my way to Fireside.

Best Deli in America! Eat here about 3 – 4 times a week!

This place is so amazing! Their menu is huge! They have everything from breakfast to dinner AND they deliver! I highly recommend this place!

**UPDATE** Ok, this is to update the review I left yesterday, 11÷12÷15. I do not know whether it was because of the review I left or for the review that my co-​worker had left, but as an apology, the owner of Pantano’s showed up at our office apologizing for the inconvenience that we have had in the past few orders and brought us gift platter of bagels (with cream cheese and veggie cream cheese) and breakfast pastries (muffins, donuts, brownies, etc). He also informed us that the specific driver I mentioned had been suspended.
All I can say is that we really appreciated the gesture and most places wouldn’t apologize that way and saying thank you. It was awesome. You have definitely gained back our business and keep making your awesome food!

I would give this place a Zero if it wasn’t for the fact that their food is actually decent (pretty much just wings, fries and salads). I have not ordered in MONTHS for the reason’s I’ll explain below, but since a few a my co-​workers have been having the same few issues… I just felt the need: 1) They always take FOREVER to deliver 2) A particular delivery man is always completely rude. He is the older gentleman. He always rude. He always comes into the office demanding this this and this with the nastiest face and the rudest tones. Then he lingers in the office waiting for a tip after being a jerk to everyone he interacts with. 3) They always forget part of our orders and when we call to let them know, they either say 1) it’ll be reimbursed on a future order (have yet to be reimbursed) or 2) they can’t won’t do anything at all.
Thankfully, we will not order from here again. Thanks for scaring away business, especially since my office orders multiple times a week.

I’ve only ordered like a basic b here, so I can’t go too deep with this review, however I can definitely say that Pantano’s is a step above the average LI deli. Namely because it’s modern and clean inside, has seating with a TV (that’s not stuck on News12) and online ordering. While I know I can get a BEC or turkey ‘wich anywhere around the block, I come here more often than not for the all day breakfast. Why waste time and head over to a diner when you can get a pretty nice platter here on the double for under $ 10. Check my pics, but I typically get egg whites, some greens and sub potatoes for some lettuce and tomato (yes, I know, don’t even say it). It’s a sizable portion and perfect for anyone that eats breakfast at 2−3pm like yours truly. Beyond that, I’ve had a few simple wraps and pre-​made salads and all have been perfectly adequate. In the area (and don’t mind the parking at the Plainview Centre)? Stop on in for a quick breakfast/​lunch.

I’ve ordered from Pantano’s with my coworkers many times for the past few months. The food is pretty good and to be honest I can’t complain that much about what they make and how they make it.
However that being said, what I will complain about is their customer service and business ethic. Recently over 15 employees at my company were hit with fraudulent credit card charges after ordering from here on July 1^st and 2^nd. We all live in different areas outside of Plainview but the only thing we all had in common was using our credit cards to pay for our breakfast orders here. When we called the manager to let him know about what had happened, his immediate reaction was that it was impossible that there was any way someone could have gotten our credit card information from them. He was very standoffish and didn’t seem to care for the reason of our call. A little empathy and professionalism go a long way when it comes to customer service.
Unfortunately Pantano’s requires a lot of information when we place cc orders over the phone including expirations cvv codes and zip codes along with the actual cc number. Most other places only ask for the cc number and the expiration.
This whole situation has left a bad taste in all our mouths for Pantano’s; which is such a shame because they do serve a solid breakfast. We’ll definitely be thinking twice before we order from here again.

Pretty good place to come for lunch. They have a wide variety of wraps, salads, pasta dishes, soups and cooked dishes. They’re all pretty well made but the portions they give can be skimpy some times. Service isn’t the friendliest either. It isn’t too pricey but be sure to check the receipt, my friend was over charged once. In spite of it’s faults, the wraps are very good.

It is a decent place for breakfast. Treated myself to a western platter which is 3 eggs, diced ham, onions and peppers with home fries and white toast.
Toast was fine. I mean, it is toast.
Home fries were ok. They were not hot enough and the seasoning was kind of weak. The egg mixture was really good. Coffee was «ok».
Its a good place for breakfast at least. No idea about anything else.

Been here a few times now and overall I always leave happy. I live and work local and it’s nice to find a place with a wide variety of options that all are delicious. I’ve had sandwiches, wraps and breakfast all were really good. I’ll update my review in time, but for now if you are looking for a good place for breakfast or lunch and you are in the area, you can’t go wrong with Pantanos.
