Oh man after all we have been through… Just came in to the office with my lunch. Found dirty mystery meat with no toppings except lettuce. Turkey Bacon bravo it was not. I ordered a pick two so I have the soup but… That one gross experience just crossed this place off my list.

I felt compelled to write this because I’m actually a huge Panera fan considering my job is 75% travel time. However this is the worst I’ve ever been too. I’m currently sipping on a burnt latte that took over 15 minutes to make(please note I am the only one here this early) and caused my sandwich to run cold waiting for my drink to be done. I plan on tossing this drink and heading to Starbucks. I am thoroughly grossed out and disappointed. Save yourself the time and go to one of the other decent paneras on the island.

I just found this in my salad! It’s supposed to be a Greek salad and moldy cheese? I am so upset. I thought for a second it could have been blue cheese(which I hate) and is not.

I like the place. Food is decent and the atmosphere is chill. The staff is friendly and efficient. What bugs me are some people who come in the early AM with Panera cups in hand and help themselves to «free» coffee and drinks without paying and then leave, completely bypassing the counter. No one who works there seems to mind. One guy comes every morning, fills 2 large cups(sometimes Starbucks cups) and then leaves. To add insult to injury he parks his White Ford SUV in the handicapped space while he steals his morning beverages. I’m getting tired of paying while that thief gets a free ride. Maybe I’ll start bringing my own cups. Could I get free food if I brought a tray? I also invite anyone else who wants a free morning cup of Joe to stop by.

This Panera is pretty good. Lots of space and quiet during the morning lull. Yet the place feels a little vacant. I guess the drive through gets more business than the walk-in counters. Today I got a bagel that was REALLY skimpy– see photo. If you are asking what the hell I am doing buying a bagel at Panera in the first place, you are absolutely right. Long Island has tons of bagel bakeries that make better bagels than Panera, even after suffering severe spinal cord injury, going through bankruptcy and having a power outage, so maybe this is just The Old Man In the Sky’s way of telling me that I made a mistake and am headed straight to the erernal fire if I do such a stupid thing again.

I gave Panera two tries. Both times I had been left with extreme displeasure. The first time I went to their location off Sunrise Hwy. in Amittyville. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Bravo, essentially a turkey sandwich with bacon, avocado, lettuce and Tomatoe. The bacon was over cooked, the lettuce was slimy and the Tomatoe had a huge core in the center of the slice! The bag of chips that came with it were tasteless cardboard! The second time I tried Panera was in their Lindenhurst location off Montauk Hwy. The tuna was almost watered down like it wasn’t drained properly. Again their version of lettuce is soggy and limpy. It was no surprise that the Tomatoe also had the core in it as I expected. If you are on a strict diet, go to Panera Bread, their food is uneatable!

I like Panera, but damn. Your clam chowder was CLAMLESS. I was so excited to eat it and then BOOM. Sudden disappointment.

Hard to beat Panera. This is the largest Panera I’ve been to, and one of few not attached to a mall. They are pretty much standard Panera. Nothing crazy to say about this particular location. It does weird me out a bit that this location used to be the Burger King where I had my first job. The food is very good, it comes out pretty quick, and they’re nice and easy about the whole thing. If you come often, get a rewards card and you’ll be surprised every so often with bonuses you weren’t expecting. Only downside to the rewards card is you can no longer tell them your name is Slagathor because your name is tied to the card. Oh well.

Friendly staff, but not a competent one. The only reason to go to this location would be the convenient drive-thru right? Nope… everytime I go there they mess up the order in some way. Always get less food in my bag of course, never more. I live in Hicksville and the location at Broadway mall is much closer, so I will keep going to that one.

I was shocked to see that Panera has a drive thru window!!! My friend and I made are way through to get an Iced Green Tea to drink while perusing down the aisles at Fairway. The wait time was a little longer than I would have hoped for, but the two young gentleman at the window were very friendly, courteous, and efficient. I can’t blame them for the longer wait time than anticipated because it was quite busy and not everyone is just ordering beverages like us. The menu board is very bright and vibrant and everything looks so incredibly appealing. I will definitely be getting a salad next time for lunch after I make my way to Fairway. The Iced Green Tea itself was cold and really flavorful; one of my favorites.

What a ridiculous location. To get into the place you need to walk through a line of cars waiting for the drive through. There is a door in the front of the building that is for emergency only and no sidewalk to get you to the entrance if you walk around front. You have to walk in the middle of the driveway. The food is Panera food. I don’t need to review that.

I really like Panera for the most part but the service at this location is mediocre at best. They never have a full selection of soufflés available and when asked if any were coming out I was told that they were putting more into the oven in 30 minutes. Ummm… There are two left. How about starting them as they are getting low instead of waiting until they’re all out? No one is going to wait a half hour for them. My real favorite was being on line behind an employee(Tanisha?) who was buying her yogurt for breakfast and was taking her blessed time digging for change. When the cashier told her there were customers waiting she replied loudly that she«was a customer too». Rudest person ever. Manager should fire her.

The best sandwiches & soups. What else can I say? Everything is super fresh, the bread is amazingly good. I’d say the must have at Panera is the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl. That’s all you need to fill you up and put your tastebuds in heaven. This place has a drive thru which is awesome as well. I prefer to go in and sit but if your in a rush you can’t beat the drive through. Staff & management are professional & friendly.

Went through the drive through, yes waited a little longer than most places, but generally you just have to wait longer for food at Panera!(If you’ve gone before you would know) food was as expected and they got everything right on my order and didn’t have to go back. Bonus star for the large® bacon turkey bravo :).

This review is really simple. They just opened. They’re staff are the friendliest on the planet. They work hard to correct their mistakes. Unfortunately, they make a LOT of mistakes at the drive-through. I’ve driven away to find out that I was missing items on at least two occasions. ON at least two other occasions, I’ve ordered at the intercom then driven up to the window to pay, only to find out that they didn’t have the ingredients or entire portions of part of my order. To make matters worse, their drive-through process overall, is pretty slow(Don’t be surprised if you’re wait time totals 10 minutes) and I can’t figure out why. The bottom line here is that if they can significantly increase the accuracy and speed of their drive-through, this review could easily become a 5 star one. Until then, park the car, step inside and let their kind staff prepare your order inside.

A huge Thank you to the girls at the register(as well as the manager I’m assuming?) during the lunch-afternoon hours. They’re always friendly and really quick on service as well as nice enough to inform me of any bonuses with the panera card. The food is as expected from panera, Yummy and warm and definitely a pick me up during the cold winter. I really like this new location and hope it stays for a long time. What is NOT good is when I was picking up food for myself and my younger sister the the young male Workers who hand the food and call out your ticket were making fun of my pronunciation of my name with the other staff members. YES. Bo Ae is a hard to pronounce name, NO i wont feel bad if you say it wrong, But YES i will be offended if you MAKE fun of my name and laughing at your friends about«What kind of name is that? Boo Ah? Boyah? Boo Ee?» And YES, I heard you and should have reported you for your racist behavior. But decided against it since I didnt wan’t to cause a scene in front of my younger sister and because you probably need the damn job though you don’t deserve it? Grow up, you really make the rest of the staff here look terrible.

Disappointed. I came here twice and while the place was clean and the food was made accurately, it took a very long time despite the fact that there was nobody else around us waiting for food. There was no apparent reason for this delay. The atmosphere in this place in general was a total turn off. There were a pair of loud boys probably in their late teens or early twenties who knew some of the staff and were truly shouting across the restaurant and nobody seemed to care. One of them was also«vaping» next to the food station… and while the e-cig companies claim that there is no health risk, I still don’t want it near my food and I could imagine that the general public doesn’t care for it either– once again, none of the staff seemed to care about it. On top of that, the manager was also shouting across the restaurant because she knew someone else who came in and was trying to have a conversation. It wasn’t the worst dining experience ever but the atmosphere was so uncomfortable. I felt like I was in a high school cafeteria. I won’t choose this Panera over others.
