Every repair store owner should come here and learn what a well run, professional operation looks like. This Dyson Service Center almost made having an issue with my vacuum fun! Dropped off my problematic Animal-25 late on a Thursday night, because that’s the only evening the store is open until 8p.(I WISH they had weekend hours!). Before I left, they scoped out the problem and told me the price. I came back the next day, and it was fixed at the price quoted. One thing — make sure you have GPS to find this place. It was tough finding it after sundown! It’s in the back of a warehouse park… but sure worth finding!

After 18 months my Dyson DC44 stopped working. I searched in the internet for a repair center near home and found the Dyson repair center in Plainview. I followed my GPS and the place was easy to find. I figured the repair would be between $ 40 to $ 100 bucks, but I was horrified when the estimate was $ 190. The sales person advised me to buy one of their reconditioned vacuums for $ 200. I refused.

Rich was a great help fixing my handheld that was not working. He knew the issue right away and all was covered under the warranty. He said it would take 20 minutes I waited and in no time it was ready to go. Love this place and thankful it’s close to home… also great deals if you are buying a dyson!

Amazing! I was going to order a part on line, when I discovered they had a service center in Plainview. I took it in and Brad took a look at in on the spot! He fixed everything in 10 minutes! I am soooo happy! Most of it was covered under warranty! Just bought a new cord that I needed. Don’t bother fixing yours yourself! Bring it to Brad! You will be so happy you did!!!

I was referred here by the Dyson hotline since I had an issue with my Dyson upright vacuum. Like others said, the place is a small place and can be hard to find, but it is a gem. It can get busy at times, but both Rich and Jason was able to greet and assist everyone. Rich, the person that took care of me, was really straightforward about the problem I had. He quoted that it would take about half an hour to have it fixed and that they would contact me when it was done. So, I left my vacuum in their care and within a half hour, Rich contacted me and told me that the vacuum was ready. Once I picked it up, the vacuum was fixed. I had a great and positive experience would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing Dyson store. I’m so glad they opened this location. It’s an amazing customer service magnet. My wife wife and I were told we could get a 20% off for our old Dyson if we purchased a new one. We received the discount plus another 20% for the holidays. Jason, the person that took care of us was very customer oriented and also very kind and patient. My wife and I were throwing questions at him a mile a minute and he answered everyone one of them. We bought the Dyson 65. After the 40% our final price was 347.59. That was an 80 dollars saving. We have a five year warranty with the vacuum cleaner. Between the service and the discount it was more than worth it to drive in from Manhattan and visit this clean, well staffed, Dyson office. Thank you Jason, we truly appreciated your advice and customer service.

Definitely a hidden gem. They were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I was in and out within 15 minutes. They don’t take cash, well at least in my case they didn’t so be prepared just in case. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone with a Dyson or interested in a Dyson to go directly here.

I received an email from Dyson alerting me that this new service centre had opened, and existing customers were being given a free health-check for any Dyson products they had through August 11th. Curious, I made the time to drive the 45 minutes out here and bring my fleet of 4 Dyson vacuums in for a proper inspection. Now — do note that this place is not easy to find. Drive down Newton until South Mall, and then pull in and drive *well* into the parking area and look on your left almost to the end of the row of buildings. Took me about 3 loops to get that right… Upon walking into the brightest and cleanest service shop I’ve ever seen, Richard came out of the back area, where I could spy a row of workbenches and shelves full of Dyson products. He introduced himself, and asked how he could help, offering to help me with the vacuums from my car. I introduced him to the devices, told him which ones were giving me trouble versus which ones just needed a once-over, and he asked me to have a seat while he gave them all a once-over. It’s a kinda small waiting area, with a shelf that can double as a seat, and you will be surrounded by some good demo units as well as entertained by a really interesting reel from Dyson showing how they design and build their vacuums. There’s also a little bowl of chocolates which I found nigh-on irresistible(sorry!) and munched for the 20 minutes or so it took to work through the 4 vacs. Rich came back and gave me a rundown on each vacuum, telling me plainly that one had a burnt-out motor, and another had a motor which was on its last legs(thus the vibration whenever it was used). He quoted me $ 170 to replace the motor housing, or offered me 20% off the $ 190 upgraded handheld as a trade-in value, and I’d also get a free car kit. Umm… wow! I already had a new handheld, so I’m taking those two dead handhelds back for an exchange in the future when I need yet another Dyson, which may be some years down the road because the other two units checked out clean and didn’t have anything wrong with them(even though my canister-vac is nearly 10 years old). Rich is very clear and upfront, not a salesman but an honest individual who will tell you if something really needs repairing, how much it will cost, and whether it is really worth it for you to repair. I hope that I don’t break another Dyson, but if I do, I am glad this place is now open for me to get service at. Hey, I may just buy another here at the discounts they offer!

I too have had wonderful satisfaction. I received an email from Dyson about the new service repair center and offering a free health check. I brought in my Animal, it was checked out, they cleaned out the turbo and removed hair from the brushes. Then carried to my car and again refused a tip. Great service, customer and technical.
