I am almost surprised you can’t by livestock in this store! Although they had a miniature animals on the afternoon I stopped from pet rescue. So after I finished petting all these adorable creatures with the enthusiasm of a 5 year old– I did my shopping. We have less than 10 acres, so we don’t need massive items, but they carry just about everything you would need for that too. You need to go through the store really slow to take in everything. We needed some particular items for a fence repair– tucked away in this small store was everything we needed at a very reasonable price.

I love this place. Having moved from the city to the country, I have fence repairs and arbor repairs… I can find any thing I need in this place. I also appreciated the fact that when I needed straw for some grass reseeding– skip the truck– They have a bale of straw compacted into plastic with a handle. Nice! No mess in my car doing it that way and convenient to pick up on the way home. They have outdoor rugged work clothing, all sorts of items for animals, tools, tractors. Definitely worth stopping in. Quite the helpful place if you live of a few acres and not quite an enormous farm.

Very bad customer service. I went into the store carrying a large very heavy battery to be checked. No one offered to help me or even tell me where to go to have it checked. I finally asked someone and he directed me to the proper counter so I could put it down and have it checked. It was bad so I said I wanted to buy a replacement. The employee went and got a new battery and put it on the counter next to my bad one. He then told me I needed to take both batteries up to the cashier to check out. He wasn’t about to help me to carry them to the front of the store! I managed to get them up there and pay for the new one. The price was all right but the service was terrible. I use to work in retail and our store manager would NEVER put up with what I experienced.

Tractor Supply has so many cool things here. We enjoy just walking around checking out everything. You don’t have to be a farmer to appreciate and use this store. We found several items we’re been looking for an didn’t realize they carried. Another reason to browse. You’ll find a wonderful variety of things here, even horse feed. We were looking for corn for the squirrel and yes, they do carry bags of corn. They carry a lot of bird feed but it appears to have a lot of filler so off to Old Bob’s. Don’t pass up browsing this store and I bet your be just as surprise as many are that you become a fan fairly quickly.

I’m not a farmer nor does this place only have tractors(a slight misnomer), but for dog food and gardening supplies, TSC does a nice job. We get the TSC specific brand of high-quality dog food for our pack of large-breed mutts. We did a lot of online review reading and determined this was the best quality for the price. Needless to say, this requires weekly trips to replenish the stock of food. Every visit is quick, with little wait time at check-out. Saturdays can he hectic since they have vaccination clinics for pets(all varieties), so there are tons of people walking in and out with their dogs or cats.
