This was my first time ordering from here. It is close to my job and a friend highly recommended. I ordered the grilled chicken ceaser salad. YUM, Absolutely delicious! Chicken was well done and golden brown, not raw and spongy like some other places. There was more than enough dressing. Also ordered garlic knots, very flavorful. Will definitely go back on days I don’t bring my own lunch to work. Would have given 5 stars but I would have to go back to see if there is consistancy.

The food is average. The cheese-​steaks both regular and chicken are above average. The pizza is below average. Prices are very reasonable compared to the competition. The PROBLEM is most all of the workers only understand simple words in English. When you place an order on the phone they are most often busy and don’t listen well or understand. After about 20 orders I can honestly say I will not call on the phone again because 4 out of 20 were wrong. Check your order before you leave and get home. Having something you don’t eat or like on your table is a huge hassle. I actually had my wife call the last time but they still got it wrong so it’s not just me. They should hire a non ESL worker and put him or her in the back where it’s quiet and take phone orders only. The orders can be sent to the proper spot with a wire and printer.

I really wanted to like this place after reading such great reviews, and their pizza calzones etc are probably great BUT steer clear from other plates! Ordered pasta it was terrible, then went in for a tuna salad. TOO much mayo and made my stomach hurt bad. Gross! Looked like they just packed on a mound of greasy tuna on top of my lettuce. Will not be going back.

Best pizza around! Always a great, freshly made selection available for slices (They’re so busy, no time for pies to get old). Nice entrees, salads and sandwiches too. We pass many pizza joints to come here… so worth the trip! Friendly staff too.

Not sure what all the good reviews are about. I’ve been here 3 times and similar experience all times. First of all, you call an order in, they give you a time to pick up, and you’ll still wait 15 – 20 min there.
Pizza and sandwiches all subpar. Crust is decent but sauce and cheese are disgusting. Pizza barely edible. Haven’t tried any entrees as that if they can’t get pizza or sandwiches right, I don’t see how they’re better at anything else

Don’t let the address fool you. This place is just outside of Fanwood. The food is fresh and delicious and the prices are right. We have tried everything from sandwiches and pizza and everything was perfectly prepared. This has become our go to pizza stop. It’s always crowded in here and people know how awesome this places is!

This review is more for the hot sandwiches than the pizza. Quickly the pizza is very good 4 stars which makes it the best pizza I’ve found in and around the Scotch Plains area. That being said this would be middle of the road pizza if it was in the heart of NYC.
The sandwiches are true 5 star affairs. The meatball sub is excellent, tender, flavorful, good bread, and tasty marinara sauce. The cheese steak is also excellent. I think their sandwiches are great and the price is more than fair. This place is the best casual Italian/​Pizza restaurant that I’ve found in a 10 mile radius of Scotch Plains.

Great pizza that can be made at any style. Also, the dinners and sandwiches are decently portioned. If you’re in the Netherwood area and want some real pizza, this is the place.
Only caveat: it can get very busy there!

BEST PIZZA EVER!
This goes Back to the late ‘70s and ‘80s. Since Margie’s Cake box was across the street from Big Buy Supermarket down the street next to Wendy’s. I live in DC now and NOTHING compares.
Down here they think a pie is for dessert.

I’ll bump them up a star. I don’t bother with the pizza here, but the sandwiches are all right, and reasonably priced. The meatball parmagiana sub is actually pretty good when I am in the mood for one.
The staff here is quick and always polite. They must be doing something right, because there is no shortage of pizza joints around here, and this place is always busy.
