Booked a room with a king sized bed and Jacuzzi. When we got to the room, the Jacuzzi was in the middle of the room?! After getting over the strange set up, we realized that there was no better way to watch a football game after a long drive than in a Jacuzzi in the middle of the room! The staff was friendly, hotel was clean. We called down to ask for a comb and razor and it felt like they sprinted to our room!

The cleaning crew at this hotel made our stay one to remember. And not in a good way. We are rewards members who turned our points in for a stay during our Military Ball. Checkout is at 12;00. Starting before 9:00 the cleaning crew was up and down the hall knocking on doors. Then for the next 3 hours we heard them being loud, yelling down the hall to talk to each other, playing music. Our one night out we get to get out for a Marine Corps Birthday ball away from kids and we cannot sleep in because of all of the commotion all morning long in the hallway. We asked them to keep it down but still heard them. Will never be back

The place was convenient easy off the highway. It could use some tender loving care in the rooms. The carpets are dirty, the and the furniture has many missing knobs and screws.

This place is conveniently off the highway with many stores nearby. The desk staff, especially Jeremiah, was very helpful and friendly. I love a place that has a breakfast so I don’t have to leave the hotel. I will definitely stay there again!

Even though they did not recognize me as a platinum member they gave me a very nice room and were very nice. Convenient and new but don’t expect anything near by. Hint, Gus Pizza is very good and close

This is a decent place to stay. The HI Express hotels were recently renovated for the most part, but I don’t think this place was included. It doesn’t have a overwhelmingly old feel, but it also doesn’t feel new.
The front desk staff is very friendly, helpful, and recognizes IHG rewards members. The rooms are comfortable, but could probably benefit from new towels, sheets, etc.
A free breakfast is always included. The hotel is right off the highway, and conveniently located across the street from several restaurants, a grocery store, gas station, and bank. It is also about a 20 minute drive to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods.
Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay and get a night’s rest.

Right off the highway. Easy to find. The hotel is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Not bad at all. Great location. We ate at Eli’s down the street and the food was great! I think it is one of the better places in the area.

Easy to find off the Interstate, clean, friendly and helpful staff.
Free water, bag of chips, and a few chocolates when you check in. But that might only be if you check in using your rewards program. (Which is free)
All in all, I would say this is a decent spot to stay for the night. Even though there was an old plastic bag behind the chair in my room. I believe it has been here awhile, my reasoning being the mass amount of dust on it.
Even though the bag threw me off, I would stay here again though.
