I am a Giordano’s fan, but my daughter found a hair in her crust tonight and the manager did not even apologize. Offered a new pizza that would take another 45 minutes to make. Also weird that I got a sangria with an OLIVE in it and he tried to tell me that it is normal. Apologize and offer to fix it. Don’t argue about it. Horrible experience specifically from the manager!

Two hours to get the right pizza. First one came out without cheese or sauce. No words. Great pizza chain, terribly run location.

I LOVE Giordano’s! Living in Colorado I miss Giordano’s. Anytime I get near one I go there(unless there is a Lou Malnati’s closer). I have NEVER had anything other than their stuffed pizza… but why would I when their stuffed pizza is so good. This particular location did great with the food and the service was also wonderful.

For dinner I decided to finally come in and eat some pizza and have myself a cold beer with my friend. I was not greeted. 10 minutes later she came by and She took our order. Deep small dish with sausage only and a Stella and 312 for our beverage. She took long also to bring our drinks. We noticed everyone was getting food beside us. I finished my beer and waited for awhile. She came by and asked if I wanted another beer«of course» I also tell her it has been over 1 hour and our pizza is not done. She checks on our pizza and comes back to tell us the kitchen messed up the order. And again she forgot my beer. Pizza took another 45 minutes. So 1 and 50 minutes our pizza comes out. She apologized and said drinks were on the house so we drank up. Never again will I dine in. I will continue to order my pizza. I still tipt her because I always do. But service was horrible. And I totally think she forgot to put in our order. And blamed the kitchen.

I really don’t like their pizzas and yes I have tried their thin and deep dish, but I do like their other food like their salads, sandwiches, pastas, and chicken wings and tenders, so I do go here from time to time. They have an excellent lunch special for under $ 10 and includes a drink! Only 3 stars though, since I never order the pizza. If I want deep dish, I go to Lou malnatis because theirs is excellent !

We order from here a lot for work, whenever we have people in from out of town they always want Chicago pizza. Personally, I don’t like stuffed pizza but our experience here is always good. I usually call and order for delivery, I’ve picked up once and the woman in there was very friendly. Prices are average for this kind of food, and it’s always fresh and everyone in my office loves it. Depending who answers the phone, it can be hard to order. one of the owners has a really thick accent and has made mistakes a time or two for us but always credits us towards our next order.

Best pizza in Chicago. Had great service, food was great, service was awsome. Had a deep dish sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, green pepper. Defiantly a place to eat.

Pros: Pizza was great, service was fine. Cons: The S’mores pizza was not good. The crust was not soft, tasted kinda stale. The chocolate syrup was too runny and the marshmallows were kinda hard. Also, the delivery kid was a tad snarky. I will probably pick up the pizza myself next time since kids today expect 50% tip for driving a small box down the street, walking 10 feet, and ringing a doorbell.

We were staying at the Harrahs in Joliet and the hubby was craving a slice of authentic Giordano’s pizza. This spot was only about 20 minutes away;tucked away in a quaint little shopping strip. We were greeted immediately by an enthusiastic host and our order was taken shortly thereafter. Since the hubby likes ONLY cheese pizza and I’m a «loaded pizza» gal, I opted for the«Southside» Italian Beef. As always, neither selection disappointed. We love this place and will definitely be back!

We ordered a head of time when we knew we were about 45 minutes away and when we got there we were sat immediately. The pizza came out fairly quick but that was definitely because we ordered ahead. I felt bad for our waitress. They seemed very understaffed and she was waiting on most of the tables. We ordered the sausage and pepperoni and one Hawaiian. I asked for a side of jalapenos and was given plenty. Such delicious pizza. Hopefully they can hire some more people to help out.

Chicago is known for it’s deep dish pizza, and so a place like Giordano’s will attract plenty of customers on the City’s merits alone. I was afraid that a place like Giordano’s might capitalize on that knowledge, become lazy, and pump out mediocre pizzas at a premium price, the way so many people take advantage of the sushi craze. I’m glad to report that my fears were unfounded. The pizzas here are always delicious, made with fresh ingredients, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and a crust that is soft and doughy where it needs to be. I’ve had a few substandard deep dish pizzas from places that use way too much sauce, drowning out the flavors of the veggies(Oh yeah, I don’t eat meat on pizza; I also put ketchup on hot dogs), or somehow botch the crust, making it too flakey and dry. But Giordano’s skips all that. They’ve perfected the technique of preparing a pleasantly balanced meal completely contained in one towering disc of delicious ingredients. Service is prompt and friendly, and the dining room is clean and casual. Only draw back is that this place isn’t Gino’s East. Also, the wait can be a bit long, but I can’t imagine a time when it wouldn’t be worth it.

The only thing I ever go in for is stuffed(deep dish) pie(pizza) and it’s never a disappointment. I’d say go with Italian beef. It’s my favorite. It usually does take about 30 minutes which is the right if not less than expected wait for a deep dish, and yes like any authentic Chicago pie it’s pricey, because your paying for that great taste, and authenticity of it. My only complaint for this location is whenever I go dine in the server lady is a bit pushy on up selling everything, and a bit slow. She usually also talks a bit to much for my liking and, babbles about crazy stuff so watch out for that Italian woman. Eh who knows maybe you’ll like her lol either way 8 out of 10 rating 4 of 5 stars.

First off, if you’re in Illinois seeking delicious Chicago– style pizza you absolutely MUST hit up Giordanos. Your taste buds will leave with a heavenly glow and beg you for more. You also MUST order deep dish. It is the best pizza you will ever encounter from any location.(Yea, I said it, Lou Malnatis.) You can order 2 pizzas if you want to indulge in their thin crust too, but it is unacceptable to order thin crust alone. You will regret this decision while watching others eat deep dish. I order from this location all the time, usually carry out, and they have never messed up my order, always have it ready within 40 minutes(deep dish takes longer than thin crust), and are very personable and on top of things to boot. Note — you also MUSTNOT eat more than 2 slices of deep dish. Giordanos is not low-calorie, and you will highly regret the decision to grab a third slice within the hour. Enjoy!

Pizza was good of course! They honored a coupon when we signed up for email alerts which was nice – free appetizers are always a bonus. I’d give it 4 stars but our waiter seemed to have sporadic Alzheimer’s and some of the other staff were sitting around at tables in the dining room with their friends. It just comes off looking very unprofessional. I don’t want to have to flag down my server when I need a refill or an extra napkin.

Went there on a Friday afternoon for lunch, was the first table in the restaurant. All members of our party ordered off of the express lunch menu. While my pizza was okay, it took over 40 minutes for us to get our salads(despite being the only table in the restaurant for the first 30 minutes we were there). We also waited almost an hour and a half for our lunches, with no apologies and multiple errors on our orders. Frustrated and disappointed with the service. Was not worth the wait.

Living off of a main thoroughfare in the suburbs can spell disaster for pizza delivery. When I have ordered from other places, I always give detailed directions and a description, and they always get lost. Giordano’s got it right! They showed up at my house without any problems, and the pizza was earlier than expected during a snowstorm. Pizza was hot and delicious too. Giordano’s stuffed pizza with sausage is my absolute favorite! This location is a well oiled machine!

Yeah, I can’t tell you how this food is because they were unable to accommodate my simple request… They have a Margherita flatbread, with fresh mozzerella, tomato, and basil. Well, my wife and I have different tastes, and we wanted to split a thin crust pizza… I knew the moment she said she wanted her half to be ‘Margherita style’…that there would be issues. – not because her request was difficult, but because standards of service nowadays are sadly lacking. You would have thought I was asking for unicorn meat on the damn thing. I explained twice to the young girl, and lost my patience. My wife then tried to explain, at which point the girl suggested we order the flatbread. We just said, sorry to waste your time, and hung up. The manager then calls us back a few minutes later, and asks us if we were really cancelling our order? I was taken aback by this and tried to explain again why we were cancelling our order. Not the slightest attempt to please us, or even apologize was made. Sad, Really. Not one ounce of effort to retain my business.
