New Owners. GREATFOOD And SERVICE. The new owner I hear is a Policeman, definitely deserves a chance and I was so happy that everything could not have been any better. I would say support the people that support us, but instead I’m saying great food, great service great prices!

Had dinner here last night. The BBQ Chicken Pizza was great! The service was fast enough, however it was obvious the waitress was never trained properly by management. About a year after they opened there was an article in a local paper on how disappointed customers were in this restaurant. Then, they went under new management and improved, and you would more often then not see the huge outdoor patio always full of customers both eating and drinking.(The patio is in the front of the building so it can be viewed from the busy U.S. Rt. 30). Now it seems to have gone back to it’s old ways again which I find surprising since this is a local chain that has 7 restaurants that apparently are not consistent in their service. Hopefully, the owners and management will see the light.

It’s unfortunate that the service and cleanliness in this bar has AGAIN gone down the drain. The bathroom is disgusting and the service is terrible. They had a great staff for a while but they all seem to be gone. The only saving grace is the beer garden and if the service gets much worse out there that won’t even make it worth it.

Place is pretty much a dump, food is ok at best, I had a Stella and it tasted like soap and piss. Food takes an eternity, then they couldn’t take credit at the end because the Internet went down and had to swipe it with the old carbon copy machine. Not to mention half the kegs on draught were out. Service also sucked

Absolutely horrible. The place smells like cigarette smoke inside and out. The Service is horrible and the manager of the place could care less about the customers! Do not waste your time, money, or energy to go to this establishment.

Good atmosphere in the outside patio, Good place too be for any Hawks/Bears/Bulls game, good specials but drinks always seem watered down or barely containing any alcohol it’s good if your strictly a beer drink but the service is slow whether packed or just a few people in the bar with the exception of maybe one bartender, other than the pizza, the food is nothing to write home about

The food is ho-hum, and if not to add insult to injury, a manager there named Katie was as rude as I’ve ever witnessed ANY quasi-«professional» in her capacity be. She could be heard screaming at customers AND her staff. I also heard her say the f-word. In summation, it was a real taste of Joliet in Plainfield if you catch my drift. Pass on the experience.

I have been here a few times, hoping things would get better. The food is good but the service is terrible. The place was empty and it still took 29 minutes for our drink. When we got then the order was wrong. It’s a shame because the place is nice but unfortunately we won’t be going back

The BEST place to go and watch a Hawks game! Brigette is an amazing bartender, always friendly and takes good care of her customers, very on point with her service. The outside bar garden is extremely nice and you really can find a better one in Plainfield/Joliet, it is large seating area, with heat lamps, large bar, large tv, bean bags and just a great atmosphere. The owner Ed has always been very personable to me and my group of friends buying us drinks, making us new food concepts and taking care of us if something is not up to snuff. This place has def changed for the better in the last year and a half. For those that complain about the food just remember its a BAR not Fogo De Choa with that being said pizza, apps and sandwiches all on bar with other like minded establishments

If I could, I would give them ZERO stars, because that’s the kind of service we received. After waiting 15min w/nobody approaching the table but multiple servers walking by, I went to the bar and told the waitress we hadn’t been helped and she said she’d be right w/us. 10min later as still NOTHING, so we left. HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!

I’ve seriously seen paint dry faster than I was served, & that’s just to get water & my first beer. Appetizer I waited 20+ minutes for, yeah… just told they were out of it. Food is almost ready on the plus side, and another beer is on the way. While our water has long sat empty. It’s been a while since I was here. Now I remember WHY. Tried an «Irish» place before St Paddy’s Day, should have gone to the one in Orland.

I read the reviews before I went to Durbin’s and I was not expecting a good time. However, I had a very nice time while I was there. We did not wait a long time at the bar for drinks and there was a live band playing that night. The crowd was nice and lively. Our whole table had one of the $ 3UV shots and the waitress was pleasant. If I lived in the area I would return there.

This place is a dump! I worked there for five weeks and had to argue for my paycheck every time! The owner Ed is a scumbag. Shorts every employee on their checks, if the check will even cash! Bugs everywhere, it’s disgusting and dirty. I’m sure this place will be closed once the Health Department is notified. Give your money to a business owner who cares.

Unbelievably trashy. Smells like smoke even in the restaurant and the drinks suck. While we sat there waiting for our pizza on a Sunday at 6:00 we heard music about smoking weed, «popping pussy» «makin your pussy wet»… While we sat there with families and some kids around us just in utter amazement that this type of music is playing. Embarrassing for everyone.

Tried this place a couple times, hoping it would improve — no such luck. It’s got that seedy feel to it, and the service is marginal at best. When it opened years ago, I had high hopes that it might be like Durbin’s down in Orlando Park, but this place is just one big miss. Suggest going elsewhere.

I usually avoid bar food and this place reminded me why. Took forever to be served and the place was empty. Very cold reception from everyone working(1:00PM on a Wednesday). Server didn’t know anything about the menu items. Appetizer came out with the food. Wing appetizer was over fried to the point of tasting burnt and they just over sauced them to try and hide the bad taste. Reuben was absolutely tasteless. Elvis burger came out severely over done. My friend ordered it medium and it came out 100% well done to the point of dryness. Ketchup container was completely empty on the table. Paid in cash and the server took his cigarettes out of his pocket and set them on my table to make change. If I ever set foot in this place again I would only order bottled beer. I would be very scared of the cleanliness of their draft beer, if they pay such little attention to everything else I’m sure there is gunk in their tap lines. I would be amazed if they are around in a years time.

Went during their Trivia night, $ 6 bucks a pitch for bud products meh, $ 5 would be better, food was really good, overall i will go again, Paito was closed, they were working on the vent system so the smokers can be out there Pro decent priced, good beer, wide draft beer selection con — IL has a smoking ban for a reason
