Let me tell you about this DD location. I believe they are serving undersized bagels. The bagels are smaller than at any other DD location around the country and I have dined in multiple locations. Also, when they apply cream cheese it looks like it has been applied with someone’s tongue.

As much as I used to like this location as much as I will never go there again. Lately there is a new staff and honestly sucked more than any staff that came through this location. They can never get your coffee right, or even food. They can repeat your order very well but never get what u ordered. Closest incident was today I order egg and cheese croissant and some how I got bacon egg and cheese bagel. I don’t eat bacon or even bagels. To my luck I can’t go back because I got work to do lol so lucky them.

Working in Chicago I have come to expect accuracy in my order. On the weekend, I still need my coffee fix. Despite repeating my order multiple times, the girls working the drive through window can never get it right. If it weren’t so darn close to home I’d go elsewhere. If you don’t mind going inside and coaching them, is fine. I know it’s the definition of insanity but there’s always hope they will get it right.

This Dunkin’ usually seems pretty dead, but watch out on Sunday afternoons! The drive-thru line wrapped around the building. During the week, it’s a ghost town. I’ve always been able to understand them through the speaker — crystal clear. Customer service at the window has been nothing less than friendly. The Spinach & Artichoke bagels are to DIEFOR. That being said… The new croissant donuts are worth coming back from the dead. There’s also a Baskin Robbins here. I stopped in one day to pick up an ice cream cake. Silly me, I didn’t know that those should technically be ordered ahead of time, but they still had a few in the freezer. I was a little bit disappointed with my options though. Most of the cakes were too big and had boring flavors like chocolate or vanilla.

Why am I writing a review for Dunkin Donuts?! I mean, I just go there for coffee so why?! Well, here’s the reason. I have frequented Dunkin Donuts’ around the country from. At least on the East Coast, from Maine to Florida to Mississippi. Anyways, forget that, I’ll keep this just to the Plainfield, Joliet area. This Dunkin Donuts is very«run of the mill.» The customer service is «decent» and quick enough. It doesn’t stand apart from the pack with a few items of exception. There are a few girls there that provide a bit more than just«here is your coffee.» I’m referring to the blonde girl with glasses and the Latin girl with the nosering. They always have a good attitude and smile. I guess I’m a sucker for smiles from girls but hey it makes me happy. The reason for 3 stars then, you ask? Well, that’s due to the comparison to another DD in Shorewood, IL(Rt. 59 and Black Rd. area). The customer service there is amazing. I used to drive up and say«hi» and they knew my order. All the guys that worked there gave me this look of respect and always talked to me. These guys were OUTSTANDING. Other than that, DD quality is DD quality. Nothing special to write about there. One thing I would say though, DD should get out of the sandwich business. They suck!

I ordered a large iced coffee with a little bit of cream and the server gave me a medium iced coffee with a ton of creamer. I asked if I could get a large with a little bit of creamer she got all hot an bothered with me went and stormed off and sent the manager over to be and he confronted me about my order saying I changed my order. So I left. I was very disappointed by this service and do not plan on returning.

CHECKYOURORDER! CHECKYOURORDER! CHECKYOURORDER! I have been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Today I ordered a Steak Sandwich Meal for lunch. When I opened after I left, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The person taking the order does not understand English at all. She had to point at the overhead menu and although she pointed to the right picture, the order was still wrong. This is the 3rd time in the last 4 weeks they got the order wrong. I’ve been here a number of times in the past few years and never had a problem, but my drive through experience the other evening motivated me to write this review. It was a little late in the evening and I was starving. I knew that it would be some time before I would eat dinner, so I stopped here for a small coffee and bagel to tide me over. When I pulled up to the drive-thru menubox, I placed my order of a small coffee and blueberry bagel. To my surprise, they asked if I’d like a larger sized coffee since they were all the same price that evening. «Why not?! Let’s make it a Large». Everything’s just smashing so far, right? But when I pulled up, I was only asked for $ 1.83…still a little cheap for a coffee of any size and a bagel. I paid anyway and after being handed my coffee, I was thanked for their business and sent on my way. Obviously, they didn’t take into account my bagel and so, I rapped on the window. I told them of their omission and was fully prepared to pay for the missing bagel, but they wanted no part of that. They said it was their mistake and to please accept it gratis as an apology. Such excellent customer service ALWAYS warrants an extra star in MY book, and this particular Dunkin Donuts has earned every single one!

It’s Dunkin’ Donuts, people. What else needs to be said? Forget donuts at the double-K(Krispy Kreme). I still prefer Dunkin’ when it comes to sugary artery-clogging delights. Big ups to the cute chick who always remembers my usual order. Big thumbs down to the gent who never manages to get me the donuts I specifically ask for. You’re not operating a particle accelerator. Just give me my chocolate long-john and I’ll be on my way.
