Not terrible but the elevator sounded like it was going to fall at any minute. Very noisy and jerky. I was glad they had free breakfast but cereal and toast isn’t really worth it. We ended up eating elsewhere. Rooms were ok and clean.

We booked a room here after a bad experience with a hotel near by. We found it to be an excellent place — comfortable beds, nice room, great breakfast included, very good customer service — everything was just great! We will definitely stay here next time we are in town. Coincidentally, we also stayed at a Comfort Inn in San Diego and loved it as well.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you have no other options. My husband and I just checked out after a two nights stay for our niece’s college graduation. Hotel space was at a premium since unfortunately this is also race weekend. The rooms and hallways seem to be recently updated and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we received NO housekeeping service and after a long day of graduation activities it was disappointing to find our wet, soiled towels on the bathroom floor(ready for housekeeping) and beds unmade. When this was reported to the front desk we were told we could come downstairs to get our own new fresh towels. In addition this morning when I attempted to iron my clothes the iron was so cheap that it simply spit out water on my top and left the wrinkles that I started with. I realize this is Comfort Inn and I cannot expect luxury service… but when I’m charged luxury hotel prices I expect basic things like housekeeping and a decent iron for my use. I have asked for the hotel to make this right so we shall see what happens.

The worst experience I have EVER had at a hotel. We booked a month in advance online for a one night stay before leaving for Mexico the next morning. Also booked their park/ride/fly shuttle to the airport. Arrived on scheduled date and the lobby was all torn up due to construction. The receptionist could not find our reservation. I had the confirmation email with the reservation number and everything. Our credit card had already been charged a deposit. Her response was«sorry we don’t have any rooms and all hotels around here are bookedup«couldn’t believe it! My husband was holding on the phone with me waiting to talk to the general manager. He got in his car and left! Horrible customer service! Don’t waste your money!

After a long day of driving with only children, I needed a pool to wear them out, a hot shower for me, some comfy beds so we could all stand to get into the car together again the next day and price that would afford me the ability to still gas up the car the next day. Most of the hotels in the area were booked. I was frazzled. Timothy answered the phone and his pleasant demeanor sold me. We headed over. At check in, I was offered a rate that couldn’t be beat. Our room was tidy, beds were soft, everything worked, extra towels were quickly supplied when requested, and staff was friendly. Bonus points when I realized the rate offered free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast including waffles, and a frig and microwave in the room! Minus a star because the pool was FRIGID and the hotel info book listed pizza places that weren’t even in operation anymore. Of note, the hotel is under construction, which did not affect our stay… perhaps we had one of the newly renovated rooms, as nothing in other reviews resembled our pleasant and clean stay.

The room has a musty smell as soon as you walk in. Looking around I have found a water stain on the ceiling. The shower head is extremely dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky on arrival. Sounds from the hall and the surrounding rooms can be heard. There is a pool, but seems small and has only about 6 towels on their pool towel rack. The beds are doubles(full size) so they are small. They are also very firm. Most choice hotels greet choice members as such, this one did not.

Hotel not the cleanest, walls paper thin — guys next door loud and drunk. Beds were small and hard. Worst hotel I have stayed in. Unless you are totally worn out and every other hotel is fully booked I do not recommend anyone staying here! I am a Choice member but I will stay somewhere else when visiting family in Plainfield!

If I could give this place a –10 stars, I would. My daughter and I checked in. The first room we were given smelled damp and moldy. Since I have bad allergies, it was unacceptable. The girl at the desk was very nice and allowed me to check another room which didn’t smell. We moved all of our stuff, went to dinner and came back. I took my shoes off and discovered a huge puddle of water under the carpet by the AC unit and the bathroom light was not working. Another trip to the front desk and the girl let me see about two other rooms that were available. Both those rooms were obviously smoking rooms that have been converted to nonsmoking. We stayed only one of the the four nights we had booked. I tried to reach the manager with no success. I would have like money back after all the blasted hassle. This has been, by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel! :( I will NOT be booking at a Comfort Inn. Ever.

Dirty, outdated and the night staff needs to learn how to set a wake up call. With so much competition in the area-pass on this $ 100 a night room and stay down the street at the Hampton for the same price

Good Price with AAA discount, safe neighborhood and close to exit/entrance of I70. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel within walking distance. Average facility that was clean and had all we needed. Very friendly staff at the front desk. Would definitely stay again.
