I felt so Disrespected when I was shopping there I should have known when an elderly Lady was trying to make a purchase she thought she was buying a pair off the 50% Rack. When she went to check out she was Given a total of 140 $. She said she was sorry but didn’t realize they were more expensive and had to put them back. The clerk made the comment the statement as the elderly walked out the door what a waste if her time. I felt bad for the lady as I’m sure as most elderly and retired they are a fixed income. But I made my purchase and then had to return them after 3 times of wearing them. They came apart. I was told the company that made them where out of business.(no wonder). I made another purchase and was told I could pick up the old pair up at the thrift store. The comments from this bitter person makes me wonder why she is working there. Maybe she should take a look at herself and listen what comes out of her mouth. Because it is the public That keeps her from being on a fixed income at this time. But her time is coming I hope as she continues getting older I hope she remembers how she treated that elderly woman. I know I will.

I have lived in El Dorado county for over twenty years… This shoe store has it’s ups & downs… Mainly downs. They have high quality shoes, that will keep your feet from being torn apart. But, unfortunately the staff is terrible… The owner is kind hearted(cares for ferrel cats). But her staffing is terrible!!!

We went in this morning because my daughter has foot problems and she wanted to get some high quality sandals that she could spend a lot of time in without her feet hurting. We were a little worried by some of the reviews, but went there anyway and I am very glad we did. The service was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous, they helped us get just the right shoes and then adjust them. It is a little on the pricey side, but the service and convenience of not having to drive into Sacramento makes it well worth it. We will definitely go back.

I totally agree with the other reviews that say that the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, then Placerville wonders why no one shops local. Not that every store is like this but this store is the worst offender. I will gladly go down the hill to Folsom and Sac. to shop where the people there actually appreciate your business.

Service will depend on who’s manning the shop when you walk in. The owners are fine but some of the other help leaves a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, I like this shop because it has a good selection of comfortable shoes in brands like Merrell and Clarks.

Bad costumer service is an UNDERstatement. I really do not know how that place stays in business. Guess it is the only place that sells what they do in town. Not only do they make you feel like you are intruding, but the snide remarks are included free. I want to shop locally, but they make it impossible to do.

Expensive shoes, that are well made and comfortable. However, the staff have no sense of customer service. Asking for a shoe in a different color or size appears to be taxing on them with audible sighs! I have a made point to avoid shopping when the owner is working, as this is just her personality. Now her lack of customer services has past to her minion. Travel to Auburn, the shoe store(Foot path) there is incredible, variety to meet the need of young and old. The staff is well trained and happy to help! If you are going to work with people, please have a people personality!
