Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I was in quite a predicament with my 2 small kids and they picked me up roadside no questions asked and took care of us until we worked out the car. Special thanks to kelsey for playing with my son and keeping him occupied! They are all genuinely nice, caring people.

I rent quite a few times a year for work related travel. I have always had pleasant experience, and the level of customer service is extremely high. Very friendly staff who put the customer first.

Do not rent from this branch! The employees who work at this branch are a bunch of unprofessional, uneducated, idiots. First of all I have a cooperate account with enterprise. I travel all over the United States and rent from them on a regular basis. I have never had an issue with any other branch! I called this branch to make a reservation for a rental for an employee (which happens to be my mother as well). When she got to the branch and told the girl who worked there we had a corporate account she started arguing with her saying that we needed to leave a deposit on a credit card. (Not needed with corporate account because it’s directly billed) she called me and proceeded to talk down to me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I proceeded to tell the employee how to do her own job. She finally after talking with her manager did actually what I told her to do and said it wasn’t a problem after she argued with my employee and I. She then after talking to her manager learned that I was related to someone who owed them money. The person had nothing to do with my business and I. They refused to rent the car to us because of this relationship to one of my family member who didn’t pay. The employees at the the branch continued to be rude and disrespectful to both of us. To make a long story short enterprise will be getting a call to their corporate office and I hope some gets fired for this. No way should a company ever treat their customers the way we were treated. I have spent thousands of dollars in rentals through enterprise and if they do not take care of these idiot employees that work in this store I will be taking my business somewhere else. Rent from hertz!

Pricing inconsistent with internet. I should have walked out, booked through Travelocity, then walked right back in. Internet says 35 store says 60.

Have used Enterprise about 4 times in the last year and they always have great service and are able to give rides to a near by destination, which has helped me out plenty of times.

We rented a car for a short weekend trip to the bay area. I hassled my boyfriend for the upgraded car (friggin sweet 2014 Camaro) which he obliged, and the guy at the counter gave us a great deal on it and was very nice! Couldn’t have had a better experience for an early Saturday morning.

When I rented the truck from Folsom there was hardly an inspection done. When I returned the truck to Placerville, I was met with an inspection using a fine tooth comb. I was written up for scratches that were already in the truck. It looked like the person before me used it to hail cement. At the counter I was interrupted about half a dozen times by the phone and the Manger answering it. I was then forced to make an insurance claim on the scratches which I am fighting now. Never again with Enterprise!

In over 20 years of doing business with Enterprise, I had never had an issue until I ran into the clown of a manager. I rented a car to take me to Oxnard, CA (one-​way) and they gave me the biggest gas guzzler piece of crap they could find. When I asked for another car, they told me they wanted to give the Oxnard location their worst car so that it dropped off their books. Because of this, they didn’t charge me for an upgrade. When I took position of the car, it had an ¹⁄₈ of a tank of gas. Are you flipping kidding me. Again, they told me not to worry about filling the tank (no sh**).
I drove straight from Enterprise in Placerville to Enterprise in Oxnard (6.5 hours total). When I got to Oxnard to give them their car, they raised a bunch of ruckus because of the gas and the car I was giving them. Then they were accusing me of damage to the car. When I tried calling the Placerville Enterprise manager, he refused to talk to me or return my calls. I had to fight Enterprise for 2 months and threaten legal action so that I wouldn’t be charge for the damages to the car being dropped off.
I will NEVER do business with Enterprise again!

Don’t rent from this company if you are ever in an accident. They charge you for a damage fee that is not necessary. So we had to pay over $ 100.00 out of our pocket for the rental. I will never use them again nor refer them to anyone. Horrible business practices. The insurance company is already paying for the rental but they are going to take advantage of you.

after having problems with my car 100 plus miles from home and having a bad experience with a towing company, Eric at Enterprise was helpful and responsive.
They saved my vacation!

The people here, including the driver who took me from point A to B to C, are all very nice and courteous. However, I have to ding them on a couple of points. First, I told them explicity at which motel to pick us up, but they told the driver the name of a different motel. They ended up picking us up 45 minutes late. Second, they gave me the car with just ¼ tank of gas instead of a full tank. That’s not particularly considerate, for starters, plus it makes it difficult to accurately get refill the tank to ¼ before returning it. (They charge, like, $ 4.40 per gallon of gas if they have to replenish the fuel for you.)

Jamie. Just the most helpful rental car associate you will ever find. Stayed late on the saturday of a long weekend to help a customer out. Made sure to give us the best deal insurance money could buy (and *suggested* running everything through insurance instead of covering her own ass and asking for a credit card to pay for it). Laughed at silly PTSD driven jokes. Made a bad morning just a little better.
