Mark helped me with the sale of my current home. As I was going through the inspections several issues with the house were discovered. One of the issues was major while some of the others were knit picky and frankly a bit pushy for an «As Is» sale. It was great to have Mark’s input on how much I was obligated to do and what was a essentially a money grab. Mark took the time to discuss the issues and together we looked at their requests from both buying and selling perspective. He was very patient and broke things down into simple terms. Mark helped me navigate the process and come to an agreement with my buyers that was beneficial to both parties.
He is also super knowledgeable about construction (he built his own house!) and El Dorado County. He understands the supply and demand and the underlying quality of a property. His background in construction is invaluable when getting an idea of what needs to be done to a house and how difficult/​expensive renovations and repairs may be.

My home is currently listed, showing by appointment only (clearly stated in the MLS notes). One of my dogs is very old — which means he’s moody, so I need to be able to put him out so there are no accidents.
Mark contacted me @ 11AM to show my home to his clients at 12:45…we confirmed the time twice on the phone. He then called me @ 12:30 (with my dog barking incessantly in the background) to say he was there and ask if I was on my way. I said yes, I should be there in about 5 minutes (I was coming from work). Unfortunately, traffic didn’t permit and it took me a whole 9 minutes instead of 5 (which would have been fine, for a 12:45 appt.
When I arrived, nobody was there. I thought that possibly he was seeing another home in the neighborhood. I called him. NO ANSWER. I stayed for about 10 minutes and never heard back and he never showed up.
OBVIOUSLY, his ethic and moral professionalism are questionable at best.
