This place is not closed! You just have to go through the back door. I was VERY impressed with this place. I got the brazilian wax and they were very thorogh. Best brazilian wax I’ve ever had. Friendly and very professional. And thr place has a nice trendy look and vibe

Stev is the greatest. There is no reason to get your hair cut anywhere else.

Gretel is the Best! My hair is so beautiful and she had to cover stubborn red and that’s hard to do but it still looks so nice! Thanks can’t wait to go back!

Not only is the location beautiful but the service Stev provides is stellar. I got a deep conditioning and a trim the last time I was there and my hair felt fabulous! Stev educated me on the importance of regular hair maintenance and I really appreciate it. His assistant Winslow is also awesome — the experience there is always a good time with those two. I highly recommend Villain Salon & Ink to anyone who’s looking to get their coif pampered.

This is not just your average salon. It is way beyond average! I went there today for the first time and got my hair colored and styled by Stev. He is phenomenal at what he does!!! If you are looking for an awesome place to get your hair done, look no further. Tiffani is amazing and her work reflects that! I don’t allow anyone else to touch my hair. She listens to you and what you are looking for and definitely delivers. You feel as if you have known her for a lifetime because she is approachable and so down to earth which is hard to find these days.

My hairstylist IS Tiffany and she is always giving me ideas on what to do with my hair. I am not good at colors or what to do with my hair. I usually tell her to just leave it wet, however she will not ever let me leave with my hair wet! She says it is bad of the hairstylist to allow that!
I Always leave with a smile and the atmosphere there is so relaxing and we can talk without others hearing our conversations because of the spacious areas.
She is very good at up do’s and vintage hairstyles, she is very quick at getting the pin up style you want! She will even do an event for you
! She is a makeup artist with attractive prices and will do what you want not what she thinks. However she will give her opinion because she wants you to look your best and wants you to be pleased with her work. This is her passion and she is an artist with hair and makeup.
The wine/​coffee bar is a plus!

Such an awesome salon. Everyone is extremely friendly, and welcoming.
Cheyenne did my color and extensions. She is awesome! I am the type that hates one on one convos with someone you are basically just meeting, but after a couple minutes of talking to her I felt like I had known her forever. She took her time, and made sure to explain what she was doing and why, not just get me in and out to get her next client in. She even took the time to explain to a couple other girls in the salon what she was doing and why, which I thought was really cool.
I had gone back about a week later because I thought I had messed up one of the beads holding in my extension, and Cheyenne took it upon herself to not only fix the one I messed up, but replace all the beads with better ones!
I always look at hair as an advertisement for the hairstylist. If they do a great job people will ask who does your hair. The way Cheyenne works, talks and presents herself, you can tell she LOVES her job and LOVES to make others feel great as well!

The salon itself is gorgeous! It’s in the historical part of Placentia and the brick walls and open rafters give it an edgy feel, while the décor ties it all together.
(Oh and who doesn’t LOVE wine/​mimosas when they’re getting their hair done!)

I just had my hair cut at Villian Salon for the first time and I must say it was a very good experience. I called ahead and they were able to set me an appointment within 15 minutes (I Live walking distance). I walked in and Tiffani was ready and waiting for me. While my request was just a simple mens haircut, she asked a lot of questions about how I normally have my hair done and then proceeded to cut my hair exactly as I like. The overall vibe of the place is relaxed, open, and comfortable. I also purchased some hair styling pomade that was reasonably priced for being at a shop like this. The only hiccup was when it came time for payment. They didn’t have any change on hand so I was unable to pay with cash for either my haircut or the pomade. Not really a problem but kind of odd… either way I had a very good experience, would recommend them, and will be back.

What strikes you about Villain is the open space when you first walk in. Why do so many salons insist on people entering a small space crowded by two receptionists? Why do salons need two receptionists?!
The ceilings are nice and high and there is a ton of natural light. It has a very comfortable relaxed feeling. This is the precursor to a comfortable and relaxed visit.
Whats more, the work stations aren’t packed in like sardines. You aren’t concerned that the hairdresser working on the person next to you is suddenly going to start cutting your hair.
Stev, did an incredible job cutting the tangled, twist mash that is my hair. As always, its better than I expected and thats even after the high expectations I have for Stev.

This salon is great! Noël is miracle worker! My hair was soo Orange it was embarrassing from my previous hair lady and she fixed it! I’m so happy it’s so beautiful! I’m so happy I found her! If you have a hard time getting your hair light, she’s your woman!

If you are looking for the perfect spot to go back in time, more specifically the 1920’s and have a variety of services available, then Villain salon is the perfect place for you!
After booking a men’s waxing service w/​the salon owner, Stev I walked in and was taken back to the 1920’s…from the brick was all to the hair and makeup for the hair stylists, I felt I was all as taken back in time to where people were more relaxed and laid back. Don’t get me wrong though, all employees and staff are to today’s professional standards, it’s just that they put their stamp on how they work and differentiate themselves from the rest of the world.
I give my highest recommendation to this business and I definitely look forward to coming back!

This new salon is incredible! Regi is amazing and is the master of both men’s and women’s cuts! She’s thorough and affordable… and did I mention the ambiance of the shop?! Beautiful brick walls and sparkley black flooring make you feel like you’re being pampered in a million dollar salon. I can’t wait for the tattoo section of the shop to open soon! Then I can kill two birds with one stone and spend an entire day here :)) come check it out!

This salon is very spacious and cool looking and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Décor has a loungey, speakeasy feel and when you walk in the door you’re greeted with fun music and big, comfortable red couches to relax on while you wait. Also, you can pop in for a quick cut and then go get dinner at one of the areas many delicious taquerias/​restaurants within walking distance. Basically, this place has great style, talented staff and a great location! Highly recommended.

This place is the shiz! Awesome staff. Beautiful Decore and vibe. Great tunes. I could hang out there all day. Near some great Mexican restaurants too. I got my hair cut and also got a waxing too. I’ll be coming back for certain.
