I love this park.
For starters, it’s in walking distance from my house. They have approximately 4 baseball fields, 2 full size basketball courts, soccer fields, a playground, restroom facilities, drinking fountain, bike racks, and more.
During the summer months, they host Movies In The Park, on select Friday nights. Food trucks and other businesses sell to residents and friends of the community and the movie starts at sundown. Many bring blankets, camping chairs, and/​or picnic foods from home.

CHampions park was built around 1996ish? The park has several baseball fields, 1 full court for basketball and a half court for shoot arounds and warming up while your waiting for the next pick up game to start. Every summer placentia hosts the movies in the park on the northern most field with a couple vendors selling food, kettle corn and you name it. Be aware on saturday and sundays parking can be tricky and hard to come by as parking often overflows into the neighborhoods surrounding the park so plase be courteous to the local residents and keep the hollaring down in the evenings.
