I arrived for my appointment on time. I was the only one in the waiting room. The receptionist was personable and exceptional. I give her 5 stars! She said Dr. Reed was finishing up with an patient and it would be only a few minutes, which it was. I was then called back and put in a room. She said he will be right in. Well, I sat and listened to his conversation in the next room he was having with his previous patient for 25 minutes. The receptionist reminded him that I was waiting a couple of times. She even said to me, «I’m trying». After 35 minutes I decided to leave and schedule my appointment with DR. Melanie Reed. You see, the conversation he was having with the patient had nothing to do with anything medical. It was about travel, restaurants, and society. This was all on my appointment time! I allowed plenty of time for my appointment, but surely he must realize my time is important. I had to pick up my daughter from school. He has school age kids, so he should understand. The thing is, there was no sign of him ending his conversation after, 35+ minutes. I have heard he is a talker, and I could understand if it was relevant conversation, but using my scheduled appointment time to chit-​chat is unacceptable.

Great doctor. He was really good with my 7 year old and we saw an immediate improvement on my daughter’s feet. We were able to get a same day appointment which I was happy about. Dr. Reed has helped my daughter more than 8 months of biweekly appointments with first her pediatrician and then a dermatologist. I highly recommend this doctor.

I am so grateful for Dr. Reed. I went to another local podiatrist before him but was unable to go to them again because they were out of town for my emergency situation that arose. I called Dr. Reed’s office and thankfully they were able to get me in the same day. Dr. Reed found out what was TRULY wrong with my foot, unlike my first podiatrist who wrongfully diagnosed me and actually caused irreversible damage to my foot! I will ONLY be going to Dr. Reed from now on.

Okay I’m a very critical. This Dr and his office staff are hands down the best. I had a great experience with Dr. Reed. I have recommended him to all the people I know. Everyone is great and professional.

I have seeing Doctor Reed for about 1 year for my diabetic feet issues. He is the most professional and courteous Doctor I have ever seen in my life. He acts like more of a friend when you visit his office. I would recommend him to anyone who has foot problems. He is the best and his staff is great. Dr. Reed has been in practice for 25 years so please check experience in choosing a foot doctor — there is no one in the area who is better. I have tried a few others!

Dr. Reed and his staff are the best in every way! I went in with a previously failed foot surgery (from a different dr.) and he spent a great deal of time going over what my current options were. He was honest, knowledgeable and thorough when explaining the pros/​cons, risks/​probable benefits of every option out there.
His guidance helped my make a decision that I am now very happy with only 4 months after the procedure. He did a beautiful job on a rather intricate and risky procedure. All throughout the process his staff was warm, friendly, professional and helpful.
Most importantly, I didn’t feel like just another patient. I get the sense he likes what he does and genuinely cares about helping his patients and it most certainly shows! Thanks a million for saving my foot and helping me get back to an active life! Don’t hesitate for a moment… go see him!
