Carl’s Jr Restaurants

Went there about 12 years ago and have never been back. Went in and ordered a meal to go. They rang it up and I swiped my ATM card to pay. They gave me the receipt and I started to read it. I noticed a «surcharge» of 65 cents. I asked what this was and they told me it was the surcharge. Went around a few times and they wouldn’t tell me what it was for. I finally got out of them that it was an extra charge for using an ATM card instead of cash. I told them to either refund the amount of the surcharge or cancel the order. They refused. I demanded they cancel my order and refund the full amount they charged my ATM card. They still refused. I threatened to call the police and they refused. I then got out my cell phone and started to call the police and they refunded the full amount in cash and told me to never come again. I assured them I wouldn’t and neither would any of my friends. I have told people about this ever since and almost everyone I know never go there.

Update: Before even leaving, I could witness another employee wiping crumbs off the table and just brushing them to the floor. Hilarious to see him come back around to sweep after. Duh! Also, no name tags! Who’s running this place?!
Wow. This place is going down hill, standards wise.
We walked up to order from a cashier, while another employee was rudely sitting on the counter, by the registers! He saw us, the cashier saw him, AND the girl with a headset also saw him, but no one corrected him.
Next, we’re told «we’re out of numbers,» for dining in. So an attendant came over with a tray of food shortly after and asks, «What did you order?» Um, awkward.
Finally, I had asked for a water cup, which we didn’t get, and I had to go back up to retrieve. #JustSayDriveThrough

Worst wait time ever! Waited 15 mins in the drive they today… There were only 3 cars in front of me today but took them forever to get the orders out… Oh and when I do get my order they forget my drink…

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while now. I usually go threw drive threw. Everytime i get Claudia she is always happy and upbeat. Her customer service is always outstanding! She always give me everything i ask for… I hate getting home and realizing there are no napkins or fork ect. some of the other employees could learn somthing from her.

Pretty basic Carl’s Jr. Hit and miss on the service, consistent on the quality of food (similar to any fast food place), and it’s fairly clean. Drive thru is also hit and miss on speed. It does have a Green Burrito as well. I always thought it was an odd combination, but I have ordered a taco and burger before.
Can’t say much else about this location except it’s a standard Carl’s Jr.

Worthless. Carl and Don Karcher must be spinning in their graves knowing what has happened to this once excellent fast-​food company. Indifferent employees, poor menu standards, cold food, «salsa» bar closed up two or three hours prior to closing, drink stations are filthy, and good luck walking in to get an order taken if there is one car in the drive thru.
«Hang on a minute!» you are told, while they run into the back and pretend they can’t see you.
5 minutes later, you could be still standing at the counter, wondering if anyone cares about customer service. Then, if someone can take their attention from their phone long enough to actually take your order, good luck getting what you asked for.
Anywhere, ANYWHERE is better than this poory run unit.

This Carls Jr has really good food. The worst thing there is the cleanliness. It is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. Also the drive thru needs some work. It is super slow, but the food is great.

The good think about Carl’s is that their fries are always hot and yummy.
Took off stars because I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it had enough mayonnaise for 5 sandwiches.
Really gross biting into a sandwich expecting chicken and lettuce, only to have a thick layer of warm jiggly mayonnaise coat your tongue.
Definitely will be asking for less or no mayonnaise next time.

Carls Jr takes me back to my childhood days.
Ordered the Famous * 2/​$ 3 and $ 1.29 onion ring coupons. Pretty standard all American hamburger… Bun/​hamburger/​onion/​tomato/​mayo/​ketchup. The onion rings were just alright. They tasted like they were fried in oil that was either old or wasn’t hot enough or both. Also, we were told that we can use two coupons in one transaction :) woo hoo!
But!!! The service here is awesome. Everyone is smiling, very friendly, and helpful.
All in all, $ 5 dinner for two. Can’t complain :)))

On Thanksgiving I took my 2 granddaughters here to get them out from under foot of all the cooking at home. I asked the nice young man (probably the manager, he was nicely dressed) for a plastic knife so I can cut the cheeseburger in half for the little girls. He used a napkin to get the knife from a box, wrapped the knife safely in the napkin, and handed it to me with a smile. I think it marvelous that a young manager is this smart and courteous, with sensitivity to cleanliness and how to handle himself around food. I did notice how clean was the place. Pride takes many forms. I am glad it was wrapped in a napkin on this day.

This is my local CJ’s. It is what it is, nothing too special. Staffs friendly enough and they generally get my orders right.

Chocolate Malts are EXCELLENT!

I like their burgers. when there is nothing else around and I am hungry I will eat this food!

Best fast food burgers!!! Double western classic

Went to this Carl’s yesterday and found out the chicken club combo is now over $ 7.00 and that is the regular combo size. Really, I just walked out, the food is not worth it. At most Carl’s the chicken sandwiches are too dry. I guess this will be my last visit unless I have a coupon. Everything on the menu has gone up, way up. If you value your money do not go to Carl’s aymore.

Went here to try out their iPhone app I just discovered. It gives rewards for checking in, just like on Unilocal or Foursquare. Surprisingly, the cashier knew about the app and how to grant the reward, which is rare for a mobile reward at retailers. The food was delivered fast and service was extremely friendly. Yes it is still fast food, but at least the experience is good.
PS The Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Sandwich only has 380 calories and 7g fat, or can be made at 180 calories and only 4.5g fat if you get the low carb version. Not bad for fast food. You can also order sandwiches meatless and ask for fried zucchini instead, for the vegetarian option.

There’s really nothing to say about Carl’s Jr that everybody doesn’t already know. You love them or hate them. So, I’ll just review the restaurant itself and the service. This is the closest Carl’s to me and I frequent it two or three times a month. The restaurant was remodelled several months ago and looks nice. I really didn’t think the way it used to look was so bad, but it’s nice to have an upgrade. It’s always as clean as a fast food restaurant can get. Especially when you have a playground and little monsters running around. The employees seem to try and kill you with kindness when you dine in. This seems like a corporate mandate or something because other Carl’s I’ve been to have suddenly been like that, too. Drive thru always has a problem figuring out a total when I have coupon. I had a problem only once with service being slow. They made up for it by giving me a chocolate chip cookie. Free food is always good.
I’ll just end by saying I like their burgers.
Beware of skate punks that hang out in the lot. They hassled me once at the drive thru.
