I know a lot of people love Pizzeria FAVO, but for me, their competitor in Henrietta really has the upper edge. I’ve been here a small handful of times, always for dinner, and while on most evenings the crust is wonderfully thin and crisp, the toppings placed on each pizza have always, without fail, caused my pizzas to have a soggy bottom. Don’t get me wrong — the amount of choices they provide for you is a real plus, and in fact they taste really good(love the fresh garlic and diced eggplant!) but even on days where I’ve only asked for just a few toppings, the dough has always ended up wet. And of course, since«Pizzeria» is in their name, I have no choice but to judge them harshly for this. If you’re going to celebrate pizza in all it’s glory, then make sure all pizzas coming out of the stone oven come out 100% cooked. Other than that, it is really nice that they serve beer and wine which you won’t find at most pizza parlors, and honestly the staff behind the counter have always been super gracious(including Alex — the head pizza chef, he is a riot in the best possible way!). As mentioned earlier, their toppings are lush and abundant, and I do love the model of being able to craft your own pizza, but it certainly seems like they need to better perfect their process from a dough-to-sauce-to-topping perspective. All of this said, I’ll certainly be back because I’m a big fan of the atmosphere, but for the near future, I may just have to stick to Margherita pizzas until they finish working out the kinks!

My fiancé and I were trying to find a new place to eat on Monroe Ave and we found this place on Unilocal.I admit, we had doubts about this place but we decided to try it anyways and we’re so glad we did! The pizzas were very tasty and cooked well in the oven! It was crispy, but still chewy and delicious. We will definitely come back again when we’re in the area.

First time here. You can see everything being made. Select a pizza from their menu or build your own. The crust is fantastic outside but a chewy center. They offer a large selection of toppings. Red sauce, white and herb oil are available. The oven was run about 730 degrees. Excellent results. The pizza is definitely 5 Stars. What doesn’t work. The ice tea was watery and the soda machine need improvement. The gelato needs improvement too.

Pizza just gets me. As was the case here. The made to order pies are stellar. The pizza is made in front of you, thrown into the oven and baked to perfection in about 10 minutes. Not too long of a wait at all, decently priced, beers on tap and ample seating. I knead dough and I would recommend the chicken pesto.

Really liked this place. I am a fan of the whole«Make Your Own» movement. From the dough, to the sauce, to the toppings… it’s all up to you. The dough tastes fresh and the sauces well made. The beer selection is also decent for a pizza place. The only thing I’d recommend is a kid menu/kids sized pizzas. I cant really go there with my 7 year old because she will waste half the pizza, not eat it reheated and we couldn’t share one b/c not all 7 year olds appreciate arugula the way I do. They have the gelato machine for kids, why not go all the way? Besides that, this place is great!

I really appreciate the quality of the dough and toppings and the variety of toppings. However, I am a fan of a lot of toppings. I know that they feel art of the pizza making is to see the sauce and cheese and each ingredient. I like a hella lot of toppings, at least enough so that each pizza slice has one of each topping on it, I like balanced bites. Also, I won’t lie, I’ve experienced food envy and when sharing a pizza if I get stuck with the barren piece my little pizza pie heart breaks. This happened, it’s a true story, see the pictures… in the future I will ask for more toppings… don’t judge me hahaha.

I am super impressed with this place! The pizza was delicious and such a great price! I picked up a Mediterranean pizza and one with their white sauce, I think it was called their pizza bianco. This is a perfect fix for great wood fired pizza! They even serve wine and craft beer so it’s more than the average pizza place!

Wow. Pizzeria FAVO is a fantastic place. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the scents of the wood fire stove and a extremely large seating area that can take in very large groups, even a little bar and stool area for you loners. Since it was my first time there the employees were more than happy to deliver a «how-to» speech about how to order, the man was so damn nice I almost wanted to just give him a hug and thank you for quelling my not-so-teenage ordering angst. With various ingredients that are bought locally, it was like any pizza lovers heaven. And you can’t beat unlimited veggies if you’re making your own either! As I moved down the line you can watch as your pizza comes to life by the glorious(900? degree) brick oven. All extra toppings are at your disposal on the side like Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. I’m a big eater and I was extremely happy with my portion size, honestly I need to shed a few(thousand) pounds so I was proud of myself at the time for not trying to go for a second pizza! Overall, quality experience here with incredibly reasonable prices that won’t cost you more than $ 8 or 9 $ depending on the pizza and extra toppings you get. Oh yeah, there was self-serve Gelato machines and beer and wine, it was literally combo of back-to-back wows of the food, drink, dessert, and employees. Definitely coming back soon! Cheers!

Mmmm! I’m all about that Favo! Tried it for the first time recently and everything was delicious! As others have said, it’s basically like the Chipotle of pizza. We shared the Maui pizza(basically a hawaiian, including pineapple, green peppers, and bacon) and the paesano(sausage, mushrooms, onions). Both were super tasty. The pizza was light and didn’t feel greasy or gross in any way. Still very filling, though! 2 pizzas was just the right amount of food for 2 people– we had just a little bit left over. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have both beer and wine on tap! They also offer BYOB and no additional charge on Sundays and Mondays, so I’ll definitely be back for one of those. *Upgrading to 5 stars after a fantastic experience. I have literally zero criticisms of this place. Will definitely be back!

I live less than two miles away. This may be dangerous for me. I had never been here before, but a few weeks ago I was meeting some girlfriends to hit up Marshalls/TJ Maxx in the area, and we wanted a quick bite before sifting through 985 racks of clothes, so we decided on Pizzeria Favo. And I’ve been back multiple times since then. Despite the very tempting«build your own», I’ve stuck to the menu pizzas, trying the skinny margarita the first time, and then the one with Italian sausage, mushrooms and onions(peppers too, I think). They were both delicious, but I preferred the margarita pizza. The flavors fell a little flat on the sausage/mushrooms combination. You have your choice of a white dough, ancient grain or gluten free(awesome!). I’ve gone with the ancient grain both times and was not disappointed. My friend got the build your own which is a great option, as you are allotted unlimited veggies. Yum! The flour is milled onsite which is fantastic. The Italian chef making dough was there on my last visit, and chatted with me while I was line. The pizzas are super thin and crispy, totally up my alley. The staff is always super polite and friendly, which I love. The fountain of craft sodas is a fun twist, and they offer limited side items and gelato for dessert. You can also sit outside, which I took full advantage of a few weeks ago. All in all, a great addition to the Pittsford area, and I love that quality pizza is served in a fast casual way. The 11 inch is generous and plenty for two meals(or people!).

Definitely a fan of this place. I enjoy pizza more than any other food. It’s fresh and worth it. It’s not expensive and they have quite a few options. I love the idea of the place, the only downside is the slower moving line. Comparable to a Chipotle but with pizza, I think that there maybe could be a way it could be a little quicker. Maybe take the names and then have a pizza runner running the pizzas to the tables with matching numbers? I feel like when you cash out you are kind of standing around awkwardly waiting at the end of the counter. But, other than that it is pretty quick and they have beer & wine which is a plus! The staff is friendly and it’s very clean. It’s not quiet and cozy but practical and quick. I would say this is a great place for a quick eat with more class! I highly recommend coming here and trying it out at least once. If it’s not your style or you’re not a fan, there are plenty of other pizza places in the area! This one just has a little different concept! Like!

Make your own pizza that is not crappy? I thought for sure that was an urban legend! Greg and I can never agree on pizza toppings. One of us wants meat after meat. The other wants all the vegetables. No prizes for guessing which one is me. Pizzeria Favo solves this conundrum quite well and keeps the domestic peace. You can either order from the pizza list or make your own. You get unlimited vegetables if you make your own. That made my choice quite easy. The employees assembling the pizzas were all friendly and sincere. The pizza was cooked in mere minutes in the rotating oven. In a city dominated by doughy pizza, I was quite happy with the thin and crispy crust. I did feel that the pizza was slightly undersalted as a whole. The 11 inch pizza was more than abundant for me, especially when paired with a small garden salad. I got the salad with a vinaigrette. The dressing was mostly oil unfortunately but I loved the vegetables they included in the salad(yeah.roasted broccoli DOES make me happy. What about it!) They also offer craft soda(on fountain), lemonade, iced tea, beer, wine and gelato to round out your meal. We ended up paying $ 30 for 2 make-your-own pizzas, 1 small garden salad, 2 sodas, 1 small + 1 kiddie gelato. The pricing is spot on for the area + general vibe of restaurant + quality of food. They even offer outdoor seating for the month of summer we get! Overall, this is a great concept that is being executed well. I will be back!

Great new pizza place with excellent gas-fired oven pizza: crust is crispy, ingredients are fresh. I think it’s a wonderful concept… fast food pizza… the only reason I hold back from 5 stars is that I think there should be a distinction between a wonderful product/concept vs truly outstanding hand-crafted pizza. You kind of want to reserve 5 stars for the little old man who hand-tosses the pizza crust for generations or the gem of a Brooklyn eatery that wins the award for Best Pizza in America. Otherwise, how to offer that distinction? Regardless of my personal idiosyncrasies, Pizzeria Favo is a winning experience. Clean, fresh, build-your-own. We tried the Buffalo Chicken and Paesano(sausage/peppers) and found both to be full of flavor and nice thin, crispy crust. Draft beer, draft wines(!), self-serve gelato and outdoor seating. Everything just makes sense, especially for a location that is close to lots of shopping. The perfect pit stop!

So this place is pretty fab. Seriously. Fast, freshly-made pizza with a good, flavorful crust. I will take it and I will enjoy it and be back often. The environment is pretty casual with a handful of booths and tables — outside seating too — and an order at the counter approach. The pizza oven rotates and cooks it in under 10 minutes. We barely waited at all for it to be ready. The personal size is actually good to share between two people. I ate 3 slices and took the other 3 home for a late night snack(reheats well in the toaster oven). They have a few different crust varieties including gluten free(so hooray for all you GF folks!). I opted for the regular crust with vodka sauce-based pizza — a la vodka(~$ 9) — which had vodka sauce, mozz, meatballs, basil, mushrooms & peas. You can also build your own. Basic margharita is great too. This is the place to go for a quick lunch or an easy, no hassle dinner. Casual experience, but quality pizza for all! Oh… and there’s gelato.

This is a great place to go with large groups or coworkers because you can all have separate bills and still sit together. I think this concept is great its almost like a Chipotle of pizzeria. Apparently there is a similar concept called pi pizza in Henrietta. I’d like to go and compare the two. I got a whole wheat crust and had a difficult time deciding on which menu pizza I wanted. I went with a vegetarian pie and I wasn’t that excited about it. The crust was really great and the artichoke hearts were tasty too but I would love to go back and create my own. To be honest I wish they had more adventurous topping offerings. I would have enjoyed having some prosciutto on my pizza! They only give you a few meat options, pepperoni, Canadian ham, sausage. I wish they had bacon and salami and other options. Overall, I know I will be back for more especially in a group setting but wish they had even more toppings. Also if you are gluten free I’d stay clear from this operation. They do offer a GF crust but everything is contaminated.

Love the concept. Fast, fresh, delicious food and super quick. Plenty of space to sit down and eat. Outdoor seating which is definitely a plus. Choice of crust between traditional, ancient grain and I forget the third one. Gluten free options available. Subway style(don’t let that dissuade you though) ingredients which you can choose and put on your pizza. Or you can choose one of the creations from the menu which all sound amazing. Your order is in the futuristic yet orthodox(oxymoron?) looking fire oven and ready within 3 minutes. All pizzas are«thin crust» and sized I believe 11 inches, appropriate for one person. Excellent for a moderately heavy lunch or a light dinner(well for a person of size like me at least). I’ve tried the buffalo chicken and the pesto chicken pizzas and enjoyed both. Buffalo probably a bit more than the pesto. They offer«Puck’s» soda at the fountain which is quite good. Try the Black Cherry. Lemonade also available. They do offer salads as well which I haven’t tried. Gelato(self serve) available as well and I recall about 4 to 6 flavors on the wall dispensers. One meal with a drink will cost you 10 – 12 dollars including tax which is very reasonable. The pizzas taste fresh and delicious. The owner or «main guy» with the chef hat is usually at the front flipping pizzas and all employees are pleasant and cordial. I did notice that gloves are not used while preparing your food and I am wondering if this is an Italian thing since the last time I saw this(in America) was at an Italian deli preparing subs in New Jersey. I don’t have a problem with that but many people might. Will come again whenever I need a quick appetizing bite.

Just finished eating here! I was super excited to try this place, and I was happy with the experience. Parking was super easy(it’s in the Pittsford Colony plaza, across from Pittsford Plaza) and the space is nice and open. My boyfriend and I got here pretty early and were the first customers of the day. We ordered the pizza margherita and the Bianca(which we added meatballs to) on the ancient grains dough. The pizzas were made right in front of us and were ready pretty quickly. The pizzas were really good, except that they forgot the arugula on the Bianca(they said they add it after the pizza is baked, but never ended up putting it on). We both really loved the ancient grains dough, which was light, crisp, and flavorful. The people working here were cordial, but the ordering process is kind of awkward; you go to an ordering station, and they start building the pizzas. You have to stand there and watch before you can pay. It wasn’t bad this morning, but I would imagine that it could get pretty congested during peak hours. Overall it was a solid first go and we will be back to try it again soon!

Wow, what a great concept! Haven’t had a pizza like this in years. Tasty & fresh, a wonderful alternative to the chains that use pre-made pie crusts. Fresh, made-in-store pizza dough(yes, they grind their own flour!) & locally sourced ingredients make a HUGE difference. And the price? Very nice! My fave so far is the Paesano. Craft sodas! Gelato! Beer & wine on tap!

Direct from Italy, Chef Alessandro Spinello’s new establishment, Pizzeria Favo, is truly amazing. I wandered in on my lunch hour today and was impressed to meet Mr Spinello, a very friendly person, behind the counter making pizzas to order. About the pizza: He grinds his own flour! There are 3 types of crust to choose from; white flour, ancient grain, and gluten free. The sauce is excellent and the toppings are fresh and delicious. Their oven is gas fired and made in Italy. I ordered the Margareta pizza on white crust and my friend ordered the same on ancient grain. They were both delicious. We also ordered salads, which were delicious as well. They will soon have their license to sell adult beverages and plan to offer wine on tap. Very cool. It was a very clean restaurant and the staff was super friendly. I hope you give Pizzeria Favo a try!

Calling out to all the pizza lovers out there. GETYOURBEHINDHERENOW! I love everything about Pizzeria FAVO so far, and it has NOTHING to do with it being located in front of my gym. All the alluring pictures from Unilocaler Stan F. piqued my interest. To my wonderful surprise, I saw the business’s sidewalk sign as I pulled into the plaza on my way to the RAC. If this wasn’t the universe paving the road to a delishiz evening, I do not know what is. After a grueling work out, I made my way across the lot with one thing in mind –SKINNYMARGHERITA! I mean… don’t judge OK. I tried to be good! The only difference from the regular version is that reduced fat mozzarella is used. And guess what? It was perfectly melted cheesy goodness! Not sure how much the non reduced fat version will compare. The sauce was amazing and fresh, much like the basil. As a basil lover, I can tell you that this expertly balanced pizza had a strong presence of basil. It MUST be the quality ingredients used. I was so impressed and enamored that I finished half of the pie… HALFWAYHOME! Sorry, I’m not sorry.(cue shameless fat girl anthem) The dough was just as amazing as the toppings. Super soft and chewy with a crisp shell… and NOT charred like some other wood fired places. And the reviews are right — it only takes 3 minutes to bake! Next time I will need to plan accordingly and eat-in. The place looks amazing without being pretentious. The lighting and ambiance says ‘date night’, but the casual vibe and open kitchen(with glass) says ‘WELCOME! We want to feed you amazing pizza’. You can see the chef mixing and making the dough by hand. I wanted to take a video to post on here. He noticed me and waved with the kindest smile I’ve seen in a long time. It made me blush so bad that I felt like a creeper and chose to record it next time XD. I also noticed there was a sign that read Beer and wine on tap. Interesting… I love wine AND beer with my pizza :-)
