The people that answer the phone when I call in for delivery aren’t very nice, they seem to be annoyed that you’re calling them most of the time. I highly suggest their pork fried rice, it’s very good.

The food here use0 to be always consistently good. Now it’s very hit and miss. Sometimes their goldfinger are more fried coating than anything. Recently they lost my business. I picked up an order and we were missing an item. When I called up I asked if we could get something discounted for our troubles. The older women… who is the supervisor… said«Your not getting anything off. S@ITHAPPENS. » She is always rude and I usually just blow it off… this time was the final straw.

The gold fingers and homemade duck sauce are amazing, but the rest of the food offerings are just okay. If you are down for a scorpion bowl and a little keno, it’s got just the right dive bar feel to pleasantly suck away an afternoon and a few dollars…

Their food is really good… going there to eat is fine. However, when calling to place a take out or delivery order the staff is incredibly rude(this has happened the last 3 times we ordered), and the delivery is very, very slow… over an hour each time. As good as the food is… we’re fed up.

Tahiti used to be the place for Chinese take out… but since the sale, the food has gone wayyyyyyyyyyyy downhill. If you are looking for a good case of dysentery, Tahiti is your place… real good Chinese, look else ware!

I’ve never eaten on site but I’ve had takeout a few times from Tahiti, and it is some damn tasty Americanized Chinese food. I’m sensitive to MSG so we asked for none, and I had zero undesirable side effects. They also seem to use less sodium than a lot of the competition(read: a normal, palatable amount), which also makes the meal far more enjoyable for me. And they seem to have a lower fat content — I actually ate some leftover lo mein after it had cooled, and it still tasted good. That says a lot. I found that they are generous with their ingredients, and I like that the chicken actually resembles chicken — instead of being overly processed lumps of white mush, it actually has the texture and flavor of real meat. How novel. One thing we found odd was that the pork fried rice was a little spicy, but hey, sometimes I like surprises.
