Classic breakfast and lunch spot with alot of added creativity. Their sandwich menu is huge and full of great options, or you could always just create your own. So far I’ve tried a few sandwiches and found the roast beef panini to my favorite. I had the Peppermill yesterday and loved it, can’t go wrong with turkey pastrami, cole slaw and bacon together. Their side salads are delicious and fresh and I love that they put pickles out on the tables, reminds me of some of the delis I went to as a kid in NJ. I will be back here again soon.

I liked the pastrami yesterday so much that I went back today. We sat down and a plate of pickles was placed on the table. Super! The Pastrami was delicious, lean and hot. Today I had the Italian Stallion Pannini with 3 meats and provolone. Wow. Great food.

Went here for the first time the server was very friendly and out going. Menu options were interesting and unique. Had the new englander(turkey, cheddar cheese, honey mustard, Granny Smith apples with potato salad). Sand which was good and the potato salad was mediocre. Would go back again, gave it only 3 stars because it wasn’t very busy and it took 30 minutes for a small order.

I haven’t eaten here in three years. I used to work in the area and always loved the roast beef with Boursin cheese and red pepper ragout. I was in the area and three years later its still my # 1 favorite sandwich. They are consistent with putting out the best deli food! Hope to get back there soon again.

Best Reuben sandwich outside of NYC, and that’s saying something. And it’s in good company, the food is good. The pickles are great, the cole slaw is just like Grandma’s, the sandwiches are huge and yummy, the salads are varied and tasty. L’chaim!

I love this«deli» for a quick lunch when I’m back where I grew up. I put deli in quotes, b/c it’s not self-serve, unless you’re ordering takeout. It’s more of a luncheonette or diner-ish, minus the grease. The menu is extensive, and I love that everything is made fresh there. And they have beer! In the soda cooler! That you can get w/your lunch! Awesome. My favorite thing about eating at Samel’s is the appetizers you get while you’re waiting for your meal: a big bowl of pickles! SO good. Their egg salad is great, as is the tuna melt, pretty much anything on the menu is delicious. I love the macaroni salad also. Last time we were here, 10 of us went to lunch, and had sandwiches, salads, drinks(not alcohol), all for $ 60. Including tip. You can’t beat that.
