My rating has nothing to do with the actual store and the service it provides. It has to do with the ridiculous liquor laws that hold this state hostage. Pittsburgh is becoming a city that is recognized by the world as a new and upcoming player in the world economics — but the liquor laws of this state are amazingly difficult to navigate — as are most things run by the government. 2 states out of 50 have such onerous liquor laws — Utah(guess why?) and Pennsylvania. Are they at the forefront? or are they in the dark ages? — Dark ages is the correct answer. government run and government unions — don’t hold out much hope for any changes soon. I have lived in Texas, Virginia, Connecticut and Florida as well as Pennsylvania — prices are higher and choices are less than any other of those states. Although workers in the stores tell me it keeps their prices down and choices wide open — that is not true. Absolutely not true.
