After calling to confirm that they closed at 4, I arrived at Willi’s at 3:54 on December 24 to purchase a ski bag before leaving for Switzerland. I found the door locked and the staff telling me they were closed and that I could not make a purchase because they had already turned off their system.
After I insisted I was allowed in and yelled at immediately by the manager for taking up time on their christmas eve. Another disgruntled employee showed me the ski bags, I told him I needed one to fit my 187 skis and he pointed to a bag which I took to the desk and promptly paid for. I was out by 4:01 and would have been sooner if the store had been open as they had claimed they would be.
It is now christmas night and I have a 7am flight tomorrow, with a ski bag that turned out to be way to small for my skis.

Excellent customer service experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, and took the time to assure I had the right gear customized for my skill level, build, etc. Even though the store got busy, the staff was able to adeptly help everyone. It is clear that they care about the customer here. I did some comparative price shopping before shopping here and the prices where about $ 10 cheaper here than online and the store has a huge in store inventory. I picked up ski’s, boots and bindings. Very fast and friendly service.

This store is home to all of the best big brands plus some smaller boutique-​type brands for winter sports. Pricing is fair and reasonable. The results of their ski tuning are the best I’ve seen anywhere. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and will go out of their way for customers, including transferring merchandise from their other locations or special ordering. Their big annual sale on Labor Day weekend (off-​site) has the same great products and service at truly rock bottom prices.

I stopped in recently to buy ski boots for my girlfriend and get my snowboard ready for the season. Little did I know that I would be back 5 more times over the next month and a half to get these tasks accomplished. I will spare you the boring details of why I had to return so many times but along the way I realized the confusion, incompetence, and outdated nature of this operation during that time. I will admit that the prices are very good and they do have some very helpful employees (believe me after 6 visits in less than two moths I got to meet them all). With the internal systems they have in place you would think it’s 1993. I will try to avoid willi’s in the future even though it seems to be the only ski shop in town.

Stopped in for boot fitment issues, had a pair of custom footbeds made. These guys were super helpful, even though it was the day before they closed for the season. I’ve been shopping here for skis, equipment and apparel for 35 years, and plan to continue to do so.
Skiers, if you have been considering custom footbeds, they will change your skiing dramatically for the better, and this is a great place to get them.
You may also get to have a good laugh if you too discover that the manufacturer had installed a right footbed in your left boot.
