I wish I could give this studio more than 5 stars. Everything about it is top notch. If you are a novice and looking to get into indoor cycling as your choice of exercise, or even advanced and looking to take it to the next level, this place is for you. First, the feel of the studio is very spa-like and soothing. I love that about the place. It’s clean and well kept. I really desire that in a studio as if I am going to pay above a healthclub price, I think that is an important detail. The towels smell amazing! That is an important detail especially because get ready to sweat! If you’re going to be wiping sweat off your face, its always nice with something that smells good! I love the bikes. They are«real life» bikes that move with you unlike a traditional stationary indoor cycling bike. You engage your core and arms to keep yourself steady. And don’t worry, you won’t fall off. If there was ever a client to do that, it would have been me! The instructors are challenging and motivating and I really enjoyed the workout that I had. I cannot wait to go back to take advantage of the yoga offerings. I loved that a lot of folks took the cycling class then the yoga right after – two very complimentary classes back to back. I honestly have nothing bad to say and it makes me sad that I didn’t choose to move to the North Side when I moved back to Pittsburgh as I would LOVE to have this place as my primary studio. BUT I like it enough to make it my weekend studio.

I tried this place out while in town for work(loved the $ 20 intro!) and really enjoyed it. I tried out two of the yoga instructors and two of the spin instructors, each class was different which was nice. I tried the spin followed by yoga one night and have to say that’s for insane people… My heart rate monitor clocked in over 1300 calories. Holy crap.

Love love love this studio! To be fair, today was my first class there, but I was welcomed by April, shown around, shown how to set up my cycling bike and made to feel super comfortable! The pace of the cycling class keeps you engaged the entire time, and the music selections were on point! I was pumped up and pushed hard the whole class! Can’t wait to try ryde & flow and the py-yo hybrid classes as yoga was my main motivation for joining. I love the idea of combining all of these workout together, high intensity cycling with power yoga is the perfect mix for me! The studio is also gorgeous and very clean and inviting! 10 stars if I could!

A friend recommended I try our Urban Elements. Prior to this, my yoga experience was limited to random classes and online videos, but nothing structured. Urban Elements is right across the river from Downtown near the baseball stadium. I’ve been attending for 3 months now and haven’t been impacted by any events. The real test will be in the summer, but so far, so good. The instructors all seem to do a great job. I’ve attended classes with 3 of the yoga instructors. I lack flexibility, they seem to really work with me. As a note, I tried the spin class but didn’t understand it. Maybe I lack imagination, but I can’t pretend to climb a hill on a flat bike. I’ll stick to real life bike riding.
