After living at a Trends Capital owned and maintained building, I can second almost every negative comment the first reviewer had about this company. The apartments are maintained just enough to keep them standing(they are filthy and falling apart throughout); laundry machines are only available until they break(don’t expect any repairs or replacements); they overcharge for water and other utilities; they ignore calls/emails about repairs that are required by law; they kept my deposit and sent me a bill for extra repairs even though the apartment was left in better condition than when I first moved in. The problem seems to stem from poor management. I spoke with the owner of the company a few times, and each time he lied to my face about state laws and landlord requirements in Pennsylvania(if you’re currently a tenant dealing with maintenance problems, call the Allegheny County Health Department to submit a complaint or ask for advice). I would suggest avoiding Trends Capital at all costs. If you find yourself in a position with no other option, be sure to document the state of the apartment when you move in with a LOT of pictures, and refuse to sign anything until they have acknowledged all of the damage you’ve documented in the contract. Even then, don’t expect to see your security deposit again unless you’re prepared to go to court to get it back.

Apartments are slums: old, dirty, horrible condition. Never fixed anything but only want to charge for stuff like new roommate(100 bucks), parking(45 bucks) — which they cannot really enforce and people just park at random. Building had laundry units which lasted about a month and have been broken ever since. Upd: overcharging for water(billing for more than what meter says), showing up on Dec 31st to show apt for August(!), never calling back, no way to leave voicemail. Upd2: Security deposit was not returned back. No surprise there. They wrote there that I owe them money. And I left the apartment in better shape than it actually was. They tried to charge me for damages that were there before.
