Smokey’s Tavern

I wish I could give this place less than a one star review. In my opinion this place sucks unless you are down to party with a bunch of angry backwoods hillbillies.
We rolled into town to see a show at Mr. Smalls for the night and spotted Smokey’s. Seemed like a dive with $ 2 Yuenglings. Perfect. We agreed to walk there after the show to have a few beers and call a cab.
Shortly after entering the locals immediately started in. The cheesy pop country music blares out of the jukebox providing the perfect soundtrack to this redneck gathering. The bartender wasn’t very friendly either. I can get that, but patrons absolutely ruin this place. And it’s not like there were a ton of people there either. I felt like there was going to be a fight shortly after we sat down. I drank half my beer and left to call a cab outside.
There has to be less backwards places to hang out after a show. We just stumbled into the wrong bar this night.
