I ordered some appliances thru salesman Phil during one of those ‘friends & family’ weekends during the holidays. Not only did I get the stuff at additional sale discounts, but with their ‘rewards’ program I was able to get an above-the-range microwave oven virtually free. The best part though is Sears’ mdse pickup window. Both appliances came on different days, and I had the mdse in my vehicle in 5 minutes or less. Not sure why Sears & Kmart get such a bad rap.

Seriously, the other reviewer knocked it hard, but it is a good spot for one-stop shopping, from clothes, to home appliances, and the like… it’s straightforward. What the major problem is in the prices; they are just not the most competative when you compare to what’s online. So, do your homework before you make a purchase… but the actual store itself is not bad at all.

I think that I have grown beyond Sears. I don’t know at what point, but it has happened. The clothes are just not special. The prices are no longer low. Why would I come to Sears in the future? I don’t know if this is the KMart influence, I do know that I can find better designed items at lower prices at many other stores.
