This is a great Rite Aid location. Well-​stocked (including a nice grocery/​snacks selection), clean and open convenient hours. They also have a large, private parking lot which is great for the Southside. The pharmacy is very quick and accurate. The only thing holding this location back from being 5 stars is that a majority of the floor associates are clueless. They aren’t rude, but most people working there don’t know where anything is and don’t know how to input coupons (I’ve had at least 3 or 4 different associates who couldn’t work the register properly).

The staff here are very friendly. all the time, not just sometimes. Its a smaller Rite Aid but it works. I live nearby and its came in handy a few times… like being very sick & needing Dayquil & Gatorade when you’re home alone.
I recently switched to have this as my pharmacy. I used to use the 24 hour CVS when i lived in oakland which worked amazingly. Since then i switched to downtown (closer to work) and also the pharmacy in my doctors office. Because of their hours (especially weekend hours) i decided to switch to Rite Aid pharmacy. later hours and closer to home. My prescriptions are $ 3 more and the pharmacist threatened to charge me $ 10 for not having my card on me. but eh, im sure it’ll all work out fine.

Nice staff. I work around the corner so I go here a lot. The people who work here are pleasant and attentive. The pharmacists are also pretty good. I never have had to wait to get a flu shot or had a hard time getting a prescription filled.
Prices for stuff are a tad higher than I’d like but for the convenience you need to pay a little extra.

I have to say that even though this Rite Aid is smaller than its other Southside counterpart on Carson St, I like this one better!
Not only is the staff much friendlier, the items are easier to find and they seem to have better hours. When I am in a pinch, I know I can come here easily and get what I need and actually experience service with a smile! The manager here is definitely one of the nicest I have experienced in this type of environment as well… obviously takes his job seriously and has a good staff which is nice to see.
As residents of the Southside, it is nice to know this place is open later on Sundays… it saves trips to Giant Eagle :)
