I dont normally write reviews, but Pizza Bellino is the truth! Food: My go-to would have to be the basic large cheese pizza, but by no means is it basic. The crust is pleasantly crispy but not too thin. the cheese is melty and perfectly browned. Last but definitely not least, the sauce… oh, the delicious, homemade sauce! Im super picky about red sauce and I got no bones to pick w theirs. A large is usually enough for 3 – 4 people, or 2 people if you want some for tomorrow. Service: Quick, food came hot, friendly delivery guy. What more can you really ask for? I really don’t get these bad reviews… this has been me and my workplaces fav for a while now… just stick with any of the pizzas(the broccoli one isn’t amazing… get bbq chicken if u want specialty!) and gyros! Gyros and pizzas are their sweet spot –I mean it IS a pizza place!

$ 9 for a slice of garlic bread, which was the back of a bun wrapped in foil, and popcorn chicken, which was the most disgusting, processed food I’ve gotten from a pizza place. I literally could not eat it all because it was so gross. The honey mustard sauce that came with it was opaque yellow and clearly crap. Also the service wasn’t friendly or customer-focused. This is not a place that is about quality food, this is a place about production and quick sales. Would not recommend.

Very delicious pizza. Have gyros too. They have a nice atmosphere and a tv with the news playing. Owner by an Italian family. If your in Squirrel Hill, looking for pizza, look no further.

I am slightly confused by the reviews for Pizza Bellino, as they range from thrilled to enraged. Pizza Bellino is one of the closer pizza places to my apartment, but I just made it here recently. I stopped in because I was starving, and they sell single slices for $ 2. I got a great slice of cheese pizza! One slice was enough for a small meal, and the sauce is very nicely spiced. The cheese quality is good too. The service is pretty fast when you eat in, unlike Aiello’s and Mineo’s. I have always had good customer service here as well. There are crazy good lunch specials, and they always have deals in the Squirrel Hill Pennysaver. As one of the only places that delivers in Squirrel Hill, I can imagine it can be pretty slow and tense. I would stick to eat-in. Good for a quick slice of pizza!

Ordered a pizza, «broccoli bites» and cheesecake. It was terrible. The pizza was so bland we wished we had ordered from Dominos and the cheesecake was FROZEN. Terrible, all around. *Update: They did refund me for the terrible pizza(though not the cheesecake – whatever on that…) so I give them credit for that. I still would not order from them again. Another good note, the driver was extremely pleasant and was surprised that I tipped him. Refreshing service in that sense. For that reason, I have upgraded to two stars.

I ordered this last night with a few friends from out of town. They both got calzones which were great, I ordered a chicken parm. I open it up and the whole thing just reeks. I take one bite and it’s clear something went bad, most likely the mountain of melted cheese on top. Not a problem, these things totally happen. But when I call up to let them know what happened, not only did he do nothing for me, but made it sound like I was making it all up and there was no way his food could possibly be spoiled! I know I’ll never be eating here again, even though the food may have been OK, just because the customer service was so atrocious.

Went here with friends from work who, as well as ordering food along with me, brought something additional to eat with them. The man behind the counter not only told them to leave. He used a lot of profanity while doing so. Calling them«f***ing a*******s» repeatedly. His coworkers expressed that they disagreed with his handling of the situation. But he is apparently in charge. I’ll never return here.

Terrible service, rude employees… I can’t comment on the food because after we were told it was on its way the order was cancelled. If their food is anything like their customer service I’m sure it’s pure excrement…

Twice now I’ve had horrible experience. The first I got a cold pizza 3 hours after I ordered. But I gave them another shot. This time the canceled my order two hours after I ordered and ten minutes after grub hub said it was out for delivery. When I called, they yelled at me straight away and said it was my fault for ordering. Never again

I’m surprised this place is in business after the horrible experience I had. They are extremely rude! They were screaming at us on the phone, talked over us, and didn’t apologize once. I’d tell you how the food was, but it never came. When we complained about it not coming, they basically told us it was our fault and they did nothing wrong. I work in customer service, so getting this type of service was disheartening. This was no way to treat your paying customers. I will gladly order elsewhere! Good luck staying in business!!!

Excellent pizza and hoagie. I had a large pepperoni pizza. I like the pepperoni slices to be slightly charred and these were. The cheese portion is standard which is how I prefer it. I thought they did a good job with their crust. I’d prefer a bit more crust myself, but the rest of the group liked it. The Italian hoagie was nicely balanced between meat, cheese, and bread and toasted nicely. It was a vinegar and oil based Italian dressing, not the creamy Italian that some places use for some reason.

Pizza Bellino has been our go-to place for a vegetable pie ever since we first tried it. There’s a good balance between the crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings, with none of them being overwhelming and all of them having the same high quality. It’s been a consistently great pizza over the years, and none of the other pizza joints we’ve tried around here have been able to better it. The pick-up service is good and it’s a nice little place without many frills. Highly recommended if you like a well-balanced pizza with a good mix of toppings.

This is the best pizza in Squirrel Hill, IMO. Good crust, quality ingredients, nice sauce(not too much, not too thick, not too sweet), well spiced. It is not quite New York style, but it is a thin crust pizza. I particularly like the Bellino Pie — which also has a good amount of smoky bacon on it. Another wonderful pizza, if you like white pizza, is the Mediterranean pie. It has feta, black olives, artichokes, tomatoes — with a nice light grilled, fresh and flavorful taste. If you don’t care for the super cheesy Mineo’s, and want something more flavorful than Aiello’s, Pizza Bellino’s is the place to go in Squirrel Hill. Very good, fresh salads, as well, and I would also recommend trying their specialty pastas

This is by far the best pizza I have had in a while. I used to order from Italian village pizza, but their pizza has gone down hill and sucks lately… my cousin said to try this place and not only is their menu amazing, but the food is really really good!

New Years Day and this was the only pizza spot in Squirrel Hill open late. I decided to take a chance on this place… The service was horrible. Then to add insult to injury the pizza was beyond unappetizing. The toppings were dry and over cooked on the Bellino Pie not to mention the fact that there was barely any cheese or sauce… Just dry over cooked toppings. We also ordered the chef Bellino pie… It clearly stated white garlic sauce… There was no sauce at all. Actually, there was dry basil and Plopped Ricotta cheese carelessly placed on this pie. When we tried to call the restaurant to return this $ 42 monstrosity of an order, they were disgustingly rude and had no intention of making this right. When you pay $ 42 dollars for 2 lack luster disgusting pies… A review this size is warranted. If I could give negative 5 stars I would!!!

Ordered a large garden salad and the buffalo chicken salad, both were delicious. Salads were huge, I had the buffalo, the chicken was super spicy and delicious. Fresh crisp vegetables, great pizza place salad for sure. Also ordered breadsticks which were probably some of the best I’ve ever had, very doughy and the perfect amount of flavor. Delivery was fast, will absolutely be ordering again.

I love all italian food. From pasta to pizza to anything with cheese, pepperoni & sauce. & generally speaking, I’m not terribly picky when it comes to food. Last night, my boyfriend and I got a to-go calzone, their 5 cheese calzone, to be exact. The bread was over cooked, none of the five cheeses were melted. even after we microwaved it ourselves(though the bread was still hot.) Next time I come to pittsburgh, I will never even think of ordering from this business.

Lunchtime in Oakland can be a daunting task. Options are immense here. When you factor in if there is delivery or not, the number dwindles down some. While hungry on this particular lunchtime, my coworkers and I decided to try something a little different than what they usually get(thank heavens for that). After riffling through the menus they had stashed at work, they came upon Bellino’s menu. After looking it over, and tired from pizza and hoagies, I decided to go with a salad. Not a bad choice to make. Unlike your typical pizza place salad, this one actually made me feel full. Maybe it was because of instead of using iceberg lettuce, they went with the mixed greens as the base. And unlike other pizza places, they actually gave you some good toppings. cucumbers, green peppers, grape tomatoes, and carrots. I would have been satisfied if I would have just gotten a regular salad with those toppings. However I did opt for the popcorn chicken salad which basically voided my healthy eating for the day. With all the good for you toppings, they added the popcorn chicken, a ton of cheese and french fries(hey, they are still a vegetable ;)). Overall, I liked it. It hit the spot and I wasn’t craving anything by the end of my shift at work. I would definitely give Pizza Bellino a spot in my folder for their menu.

So, after trying a number of different pizza/wing/junk food places on GrubHub and not finding many to be consistent or yummy, we decided to try Pizza Bellino. Some of the supposed«better» pizza places in the area we live are not open on Sunday afternoons leaving us few options either A) for delivery or B) just to eat! We got wings and a chicken parm hoagie… both were good, but nothing spectacular or over the top. They get brownie points for being fast and efficient though. The food was actually fresh and hot when it got here… the hoagie was not soggy like they can often be when too much time elapses before it gets to you. I would definitely order from here again… good basics with good service in a timely fashion makes it worth trying.
