Modalities 8 Therapy

I have had 2 massages w Patricia. I love the fact that’s she’s all business. She doesn’t try to make awkward small talk or want to chat. She’s a great masseuse and she is reasonably priced. One annoyance is the space– you can hear people taking In hallway and you do have to stand outside and wait (there is no waiting room). But they, the trade off is worth it! I’d recommend for a straight forward massage. No frills.

called, how i normally make appts, before my groupon expired. contacted a week later. reprimanded for not emailing. they said they would sent a list of appt times. never received. emailed them several more times. still no response. unprofessional and unpleasant.

I have been going to Patricia for massage for about 7 years now – first at the Nuin Center, then at her home office, and now at her Fox Chapel location. I have had wonderful experiences every time.
She gives you a form at the beginning of every session to help outline where you are feeling stress in your body, she asks each time about pressure preferred, life stressors, etc. She tells me to wave my arm during the massage if I need to communicate with her about anything. She also asks afterward how I feel and how the massage was.
I have referred numerous friends and family members to her and they have been return customers as well.
The one drawback is having to book in advance – it’s not as convenient since sometimes a massage is an immediate necessity; however, if you purchase a package with her from the web store you can book a few months in a row and getting a day/​time that works is not an issue for me.

Do yourself a favor and avoid trying to schedule an appt. For whatever reason there is a 3 month wait with minimal appointments available. The owner is not interested in customer service or satisfaction. There are numerous excellent massage therapists in the area. Trust me, your money will be better spent elsewhere.

I was told by Patricia Imbarlina (Patricia Imbarlina LMT of Modalities8Therapy) via email to return my amazon local voucher because it’s difficult for me to book a massage months ahead of time.
