OMG everyone’s always saying patronize your local businesses. Wait wait wait. No one has to ask me.
The store has EVERYTHING I need when I’m 5 minutes out for a Drill, Level, Stud Finder, or that thinga-ma-jigger that clamps pool hose to filter.
Stuff to make a dog run. I had an dea but the staff was fast to connect the pieces. Done !!! I have to give it up for the YOUNG knowledgeable staff employed. They know where everything is!!!
They stock pool supplies in summer. Soo close to home I’m there for another 5 gallon jug every other day. They even checked to see if they could stock anything larger!!!
Sooo Accommodating!!!
#1 Customer!!! Bought like 20 gallons of Clark+Kensington at buy one get two free Holiday Sale. YES I bought a lot but purchased primer too.

This store has been in the same family for generations. Honesty and hard work reflect their old-fashioned business ethics.

They are extremely helpful and friendly and have a much deeper stock than you might think. Prices aren’t too bad, much prefer this over the giants.

1.) They answer the phone — and can tell you whether they have what you’re looking for.
2) They are open weekdays until 8pm.
3) They are open Sundays until 5pm.
4) When you walk in, they ask what you’re looking for and can direct you to exactly where it is.
From canning to tiling, they have saved many of my projects with a last-minute run up the street.

This is a deceptively large Ace Hardware. I usually only see an Ace Hardware this large when it is in a rural setting. The owners have expanded through several of the first floors of several adjoining buildings on the Mt Oliver Main Street.
As with many of the businesses open in Downtown Mt Oliver, parking is anemic. Luckily, if you visit at the proper time you won’t have to worry about finding a space since there is a large percentage of vacant spots. All of the associates at this Ace are very friendly and more than willing to help answer any questions you have. They don’t have everything, but they do have a lot. And much like Yin and Yang, you can always visit the True Value down the road to find what they don’t have.
