Be very careful, I will never purchase jewelry from this shady operation again! My wife and I were married young and renewing our vows for our twentieth anniversary. I decided to surprise her with a new ring. I chose kay solely because of the holiday dollars offered by the sales associate. I was told that I would receive $ 100 per every $ 300 spent to put towards my next purchase. That’s it, no fine print explained and no fine print given until after I opened a credit card with them and my purchase was completed. When the sale was completed, I was handed all of my paperwork in a plastic sleeve with my holiday dollars face up and all other papers conveniently hiding the small print on the back. While I, and many others I’m sure, thought I had a specific amount to put towards my purchase this was not the case. Apparently you have to spend three times the amount of holiday dollars earned. I would not have chosen kay if I knew this to be the case. This is a very deceptive practice that I’m sure is promoted throughout the company. I opened a line of credit with them planning on future purchases. After this experience I will be paying off my original purchase and canceling my card as well as contacting the better business Bureau.

So disgusted with Kay Jewelers right now! We are renewing our vows for our 20th anniversary. My husband wanted to surprise me with a new engagement ring. He bought it here around the holidays and was told he’d earn $ 300 toward our next purchase. When I went in to have it sized,(which took 2 and a half weeks by the way) I looked at some bands. The sales rep told me I’d get $ 300 off. We went in today and I found a cheaper band I liked. When it was rung up, she said I’d get $ 100 off. Not $ 300 because I can only use $ 100 of that holiday cash per $ 300 spent. I called customer service. She put me on hold to call the store. She got back on the line and said she spoke with the manager and she said that they all understand how the promotion works and they didn’t explain it to us incorrectly. Really?!? Screw me over and call me a liar? Apparently they will say whatever they have to in order to make a sale. Don’t shop here. They only want your money. Customer service is non-existent!
