Harry is a nice guy! Affordable price! Sometimes there is a line but worth the wait. And don’t forget the tips! He will be very happy!

Great guy, Joe, always greets you with a smile & a laugh. $ 9 haircuts!!! Place is a revolving door of interesting Squirrel Hill-ian’s. Good haircuts, though I’ve had some technical issues with sides not being done as nice as I’d liked, but I’m sure he could’ve taken care of it if I pointed it out to him. Open late, closed Wednesdays, call ahead or walk-in & wait. I’ve stayed till almost 9 pm for some time in the red chair… it’s worth it. All in all, a great asset to Squirrel Hill! We Love Ya, Joe!

I had my first haircut in Pittsburgh at this shop, its pretty good … you don’t find fancy new interiors but you find a guy who is good at what he does and connects with you on personal level. he is a good man with a wealth of life experiences to talk about, I enjoyed talking to him in 20 mins he did my haircut. I would recommend this place to all. Only drawback — you have to wait long, there are no appointments.

This is my favorite barber anywhere from any time. There are to many things to say about this place. The barber Joe(Harry was his father) is one of the most unique individuals I’ve ever meet. Kind. Funny. And he cuts hair well. Unlike at Phillip P where he says«you can get anything BUT a goods haircut.» And stepping into his shop is like steeping back in time, circa 1960, although I think his chairs are from the 30s. He always has a story or joke and is always smiling. And if you’re on a budget, you can’t beat a 7 dollar haircut. BTW, Here are two articles about Joe and his shop.
