Do NOT take your alterations to Fox Chapel Dry Cleaners. I previously used this store for alterations, when a seamstress named Toni was there. Toni apparently left, and the store replaced her with two new seamstresses. One of the new seamstresses was never there when she was supposed to be there. Numerous times I visited during seamstress hours with needed alterations, and she was not there despite having posted hours on the wall. The other seamstress did a very bad job on several pairs of pants. I had the waist taken in, and the alterations left puffy-puckery seams in the back(just what every girl wants on her butt). Even the hems weren’t done properly — EVERYPAIR was hemmed TOOSHORT and not measured for a «military hem»(shorter in the front, longer in the back). Hems are not supposed to just be whacked off and even all the way around. I can’t even sew on a button and I know that… I now can only wear these pants with FLATS, because they are too short to wear with heels. The alterations weren’t cheap, and the pants weren’t cheap either and they’re all buy ruined. I have never had a problem with dry cleaning there, but FINDSOMEWHEREELSEFORALTERATIONS!
