Family Dollar

My friends, I am confused by Family Dollar. In what sense you may ask? Well in the sense that I do not understand how they come up with where they choose to place their stores. This particular location is located in Penn Circle near the Target. Yes, that one, the one that is a mere two blocks from the Family Dollar located in the Shakespeare shopping plaza. Don’t forget that one that is about a mile up the road in the Garfield area… or the one that is about 3 miles down in Point Breeze area.
This one stands out as one that you want to stay away from. They have two doors at the front, but only one you can enter. It’s always a bit disturbing when intermittently they are announcing overhead that theft is a crime. If you are claustrophobic, stay out of here. It feels as if the aisles are closing in on you. The employees have the personality of a wet piece of cardboard. They are that much of charmers there.
I think once the rest of the area surrounding here builds up, this store will do one of two things: remodel or close completely. Which either would be welcomed.
