Used to be a nice property to reside. Management changes recently seem to be focused on how much money can be extracted from tenants. Have significant noise issues with a neighbor(think sounds of someone banging through a wall) several nights a week. The guts of the investigation was asking the tenant if they were making noise. Even had the office manager in my unit once to hear the noise. Was agreed that it was uncalled for. When it continued and I tried to push the issue I was told that it couldn’t be proven where it emanated from so they would do nothing except send another letter(probably the 4th or 5th at that point). When I wanted to move into another unit I was going to have to pay rent on both units(the one I was leaving and the one I would be moving to) at the same time even when they were not occupied. Thus paying 13 months of rent in a 12 month period. Also would be required to fill out a new rental application along with paying an application fee. I have no problem paying for a few days of overlap when moving from one unit to another. Virtually a full month extra for the pleasure of moving myself is a different story. Appliances need to be replaced. For an upscale community, the appliances are not up to par. For the longest time I enjoyed living here. Some nice amenities, such as the gym and lounge(when it’s allowed to be open). Attached parking garage is also nice. Really like the service staff and concierge. Overall I’m just saddened how things have changed.

We moved into the Encore on 7th about a month ago and we could not be more pleased. The building has so many great amenities and has a great location. Pros: Modern, LEED-certified building Conveniently located in cultural district and close to stadiums, art galleries, theaters and public transportation On-site fitness gym Community room and 7th street terrace Our unit has a great balcony with a view of the rivers and downtown Doorman available most evenings Cons: The price is high but it’s worth it for what you get
