There are now THREE dunkin donuts downtown! This location is on Smithfield St where the old Pita Pit used to be. I work a block away and have been waiting for this one to open. I walked by for an entire week seeing if it was open, so when i seen that guy in the large coffee costume dancing outside last week, i was pretty excited! I am not really close to the Market Sq one and the one on Grant St is out of the way. This location works perfectly for me.
I usually do the combo specials… 2 donuts and a coffee. Or the breakfast croissant, hashbrowns bites and a coffee. So far, so good.
This location is pretty small. It seemed that Pita Pit had more room in this space. I suppose making delicious donuts requires more kitchen space. There are 3 stools near the window and a 2 top table inside. No biggie. Most people take their donuts and run so i guess it’ll work out fine.
