I decided to see the owner since I hadn’t been having much luck with salons around the area. Let me tell you, it was a huge mistake. First off, I waited 45 minutes. I had an appointment and he didn’t come get me for 45 minutes AFTER my appointment! I should have gotten up and left — little did I know I was in for the worst haircut experience ever. I showed him pictures and told him I wanted a textured bob. I should have known I was in for it when he said «Oh yeah! I used to do that cut all the time in the 80s!»
I walked out of there with a short bob. I asked him to put layers in so it wouldn’t be so blunt, but his next client was sitting there waiting and he urged me to give it a few days to see if I get used to it. I never did. Don’t make the mistake that I did thinking that if someone’s name is on the salon they care. He did not care that I was a new client and waited for 45 minutes before finally being shampooed and he certainly didn’t care that I was unhappy with the cut and asked for changes.

I go to Kim for my shellac manicures. She does a wonderful job! My manicures last 3 weeks. My nails look great and I love talking to Kim. She is friendly and does a very neat and professional job. Everyone at the salon is very nice.

After many tries with stylists who stopped listening after three visits, I found Marcy at Colaizzi’s and she has consistently given me great haircuts for the past eight visits! She offers good suggestions, but always gives you what YOU want. She has a loyal customer here.
