I purchased a reclining sofa and chair and was told it would be delivered in 4 days. I filled out the application and the salesman said in fact that it would be 3 weeks. I liked the set so I agreed that the date would work. they called the week it was to be delivered and said we were in luck that we could actually have it a day sooner. and they would call 48 hours before to give you the time. We never heard from them so I called and was told that in fact it was going to be an extra week. I told the salesman that I got rid of my furniture because they said it would be there. He said he would call me back before 4:30 that day and I had to call him because he got side tracked «so he said.’ He said I would definitely have it Tuesday and he would credit half the delivery cost. He said someone would call Saturday or Sunday to verify the time and of course that did not happen. I called again on Monday morning and talked to a woman and explained what had been going on. She called me back within the hour to say that it would be at least 2 more weeks before they could deliver it. I canceled my order and I would never shop there again. The salesman just continued to lie in order to make a sale, where is the customer service?

I should have read reviews before going to this store. I ordered desk as a present for my mom and it was supposed to deliver in 1 week. I called in 10 days and they said it will take another week. After that it took me 3 days just to get someone on the phone who told me that it will take another week. A month later after I placed my order –the desk was never delivered. I called yesterday and cancelled my order. I had to speak to the rudest person while he was trying to convince me to not cancel my order. I told him after waiting for more than a month-​I don’t want to deal with his store again. He hang up on me without any apologies and explanations why my order was delayed. My mom’s present was ruined and now I have to go and search for another desk

If you want to take the furniture home with you, think again! This Mickey Mouse operation keeps everything in Connecticut and ships it as people buy it. My table was supposed to be here in 3 weeks, then they called and pushed the delivery back another week, then when they finally got here they only had the chairs and the base! The apparently lost the tabletop. Now I have to plan a 3^rd date for them to come deliver. It was nice of them to give me some store credit but it’s no good, cause I’m not going back. value city all the way baby! lol

I am so happy with my bedroom furniture! ! The sales girl (with a beautiful name I can’t remember) was so nice and not pushy. She showed me exactly what I was looking for. I picked the day I wanted it delivered and they came and set up. I looked over it and signed! SO EASY. They email you with arrival times and also call you that day to let you know when they’ll arrive.
I love what I’ve purchased. I will be a returning customer and hope you visit them too. (They offer a goof proof plan for insurance, I didn’t buy it but would now rethink about it bc it wasn’t to expensive)

Bobs is a scam. This location is no exception. Google bobs discount furniture and read the reviews. The quality that you see in store is NOT what arrives at your house. Also the «goof proof» warranty program is a SCAM. Stay far away from any Bobs store.
