Banker Supply

Banker Supply is a treasure trove of new, innovative and functional bike clothing and accessories. The first in the metro area to carry products such as Fiks: Reflective clothing and stickers (to increase your visibility in low light conditions), Banker Supply also carries products like the Fix It line of bike repair tools. Each product offered has been reviewed and user approved by the owner of Banker Supply, a dedicated cyclist. I love stopping buy to see what cool products are newly available. I almost always walk out with a new «solution» to a bike commuting need. My holiday gift wish list often has a few Banker Supply special items!

Banker supply is a relatively new shop on Centre Ave by Whole Foods. In a town full of bike shops, Banker has some pretty unique things to offer. The first is that they carry products you can’t find basically anywhere else in Pittsburgh, like Levi’s commuter series clothing, awesome bike panniers from Chrome, etc. They also carry a full range of reflective stickers and clothing from Fiks Reflective, which shares an owner with Banker Supply. The next good reason to shop at Banker is that the folks that work there are really helpful and friendly. No one will try to rush you into a purchase. There have been a few times I’ve stopped by without buying anything (which is hard because they have such rad stuff) and they’ve always been really awesome. Finally, this place is great because they do a lot to support biking communities in Pittsburgh. Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place! Nick is so knowledgeable and passionate about bikes and it shows through his store. Beautiful, unique bike selection, beer (!) and well-​made, trendy biking clothing you couldn’t get anywhere else in Pittsburgh. From gear to t-​shirts to hoodies to his signature reflective bike strips, this place is quality. I bought a Fiks Reflective crewneck sweatshirt from here and it is my favorite sweatshirt ever — so incredibly soft, and Nick helped me pick out a new bike. Highly recommend!

If your looking for commuter clothing or accessories, this is the place. It’s not the run of the mill bike shop selling the some accessories that every other shop carries. Banker supply specializes in the current, boutique brands — but not just for show, they don’t carry items that aren’t quality.
Friendly and knowledgable staff will make sure you get exactly what you are need. I’ve had a number of great experiences with this store and will be sure to go back in the near future.

I have purchased snacks, jeans and T-​shirts from this establishment. The snack bar was yummy, the jeans fit like a glove, and the shirts were as soft as a baby’s bottom!

I love these guys. They have the superb knowledge ok anything having to do with bikes and bike culture. The store atmosphere is hip and chill. Help yourself to good vibes and cookies. Nick and his staff organize biking and social events, and they are so cool. Come check em out!
