We worked with Albert Anthony real estate to purchase a new home as well as to sell our existing home, and in both cases Albert Anthony real estate provided exceptional advice and guidance.
We engaged with Phil Anthony last fall to search for a new house. We were probably a buyer’s agent’s worst nightmare: very picky as to both location and the type of home. We viewed more than 30 properties over five months before finding one that met all of our criteria, and throughout this journey Phil was patient, upbeat, and provided helpful pointers to help us narrow our search. As soon as we had put in an offer, Phil was on top of all aspects of the purchase. We used Ed Lampl (whom we also recommend) for the home inspection and the report brought up some significant issues. Sales often fall apart after an inspection but Phil kept the negotiations between us and the sellers cordial and productive. We closed on the property in March and immediately engaged Albert Anthony to sell our existing home.
Selling our house with Albert Anthony was a great experience; even more so than buying, the process felt like family was helping us prepare and sell our home. Phil and Al worked together to find contractors who provided aesthetic updates, deep cleaning, and other services to help the home show better. Al even brought over a few pieces of strategic furniture for the showing as the house was otherwise empty. Their efforts paid off for us: the home sold at asking and we had multiple offers within days of listing. Phil and Al also expertly handled the post-​inspection period: the buyers requested we fix a number of items and they helped us find and schedule contractors as necessary.
Albert Anthony provided service and guidance that went beyond a commercial relationship. They treated us like family and we deeply appreciate them.
